Desko Deska(DESKO/FLATTOP)

She has started DJ since Nov 2014 after band activities.
Based on Shibuya which is one of biggest underground city in Japan, she has played around 100 gigs in a year.
Aiming to be world wide traveling DJ, seeking how to connect with music all the time.

Her music style is DESKO which is based on Nu Disco with her originality from characteristic and background of her music.

There are some party which is organized by her.

This party focus on female DJs.

After the organizing these own parties, she joined Huit Etoiles Seoul Tour and providing her mix to Japanese major music radio, J-WAVE.

From 2019, change the DJ name to “Desko Deska” and organize regular party FLATTOP at Aoyama ZERO and Contact Tokyo.in which she has invited artists such as Shanti Celeste and Josey Rebelle.
In Aoyama Hachi, legendary club in Tokyo, she open new party which is named “DESKO”.

ミュージシャンであり、映像ディレクター。地方都市のリサイクルショップや閉店したレンタルビデオショップなどで収集したVHS、実家の片隅に忘れ られたホームビデオなど、古今東西の様々なビデオテープをサンプリングして映像と音楽を同時に制作。 映像と音を駆使しながら、時に熱く、時にメロウに、唯一無二のムードを持つエキゾチックなダンスミュージックを作り出している。 近年では様々な土地を題材にしたフィールドワークを行いながらの楽曲制作や、国内外のアーティストとの共作なども行なっている。 VHSの映像とピアニカを使ってライブをするほか、MV制作、VJ、DJなど活動は多岐にわたる。映像ディレクターとしてはこれまでにcero、CRAZY KEN BAND、坂本慎太郎などの映像も手がけてきた。
カクバリズムから2ndアルバム『世界各国の夜』(2015)、3rdアルバム『ON THE AIR』(2017)、多数のゲストボーカルを迎えて制作した初の歌モノア ルバム『The Secret Life Of VIDEOTAPEMUSIC』(2019)などををリリース。
その他にも、国内外のレーベルからリリースされた作品多数。

VIDEOTAPEMUSIC is a music and video producer from Tokyo who uses old VHS tapes collected in dusty recycle shops and closed rental video stores as raw material for his music and video production, creating a singular and highly unique musical world that has created waves on the Japanese scene since 2009. Starting out strong with three self-released albums, followed by two albums on Japanese label KAKUBARHYTHM and a collaboration 12” with Shintaro Sakamoto(Yura Yura Teikoku) on EM Records.

長野県、長者の森で行われた、「秘境祭2019 http://hikyousai.jp/ 」での録音。
その場のノリで、GO MAX GODAさんにキーボードで参加してもらったのですが（GO MAXさんは絶対音感の持ち主）、昼から始まっている催しの夜中3時過ぎというテンションもあり、その瞬間にしか出来ないマッドでカオスなライブ感が、聴き返したら面白かったのでアップします。
90分のDJ時間の中から、最初の60分、テクノです。

かなりマッドな状況で出音も混乱していたので、音量～EQなど、DJミキサーとマスターミキサーのバランスを、ずっと調整しながらかけています。
その、おびただしく音量～音質が変化している録音を、後日修正したので、（修正し切れなかった箇所の）音が意味不明の動きをしますが、一期一会のライブ感ということで。

色々な要素が複雑にズレたり合ったり、ぐちゃぐちゃしている感じが生き物っぽく感じられたので、なんとなく「有機体」というユニット名を付けました。
