q. pls introduce yourself
a. I make music as Odd Ned, I’m a sound designer and producer based in Dublin.

q. is there a story behind the mix?
a. I had covid over Christmas so I spent the week looking for music and getting friends to send me bits. Isolation took it’s toll so the music gradually got more stripped back and spaced out. Recorded the mix on christmas day so I suppose it’s a record of all the tracks that kept me from pacing in circles.

q. what's the best way enjoy your mix?
a. On the move early in the morning.

q. describe a favorite object in your living room...
a. Close tie between a Rich Gilligan print and a copy of Subway Art by Martha Cooper

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. I’m at the very early stages of a new LP at the moment which I’m hoping to have done over the next few months. Working on a few collabs as well which I’m excited about.

Alles gut, keine Panik. Rennstein ist jetzt da. Die Welt geht nicht unter.

Rennstein ist zum Ursprung gereist und hat sich dort mit Mutter Erde verbunden. Natürlich flüsterte unsere Natur ihm in uralter Sprache die Worte, aus denen sich ihr Schmerz und ihre Leidenschaft zum Leben zusammenpuzzeln. Mit einem Purzelbaum kommt er nun aus dieser Höhle gekrochen, halb tot und halb halb-lebendig. Unter dem Arm trägt er das Manuskript, auf welchem er die übersetzten Weisheiten der heiligen Mutter kalligraphiert hat. 
Kurz darauf traf er sich bei einer Tasse handgerolltem Grüntee, der nicht langer als zwei Minuten gezogen hat, mit dem erbarmungslosen RenMasterZen, der nur eine Shorts anhatte.
RenMasterZen sammelte die hochenergetische Spannung aus dem Stadtleben und skulptierte daraus ein Perpetuummobil, mit dem Rennstein und RenMasterZen gemeinsam in dein Gehirn fahren können. Das Problem ist gelöst. Die Welt ist wieder einmal gerettet.

Chuang Tzu was a philosopher in ancient China, who, one night went to sleep and dreamed that he was a butterfly. He dreamt that he was flying around from flower to flower and while he was dreaming he felt free, blown about by the breeze hither and thither. He was quite sure that he was a butterfly. But when he awoke he realised that he had just been dreaming, and that he was really Chuang Tzu dreaming he was a butterfly. But then Chuang Tzu asked himself the following question: "was I Chuang Tzu dreaming I was a butterfly or am I now really a butterfly dreaming that I am Chuang Tzu?"
