Big sample laden bouncy hardhouse tune from 2001. I think the most obvious samples in there are the rap from Up To No Good by The Porn Kings (which is actually a sample of Whodini) and 'I'm Gonna Get You Baby' by whichever diva that was..

ALX - I'm Gonna Get You

Bouncy remix of a little bit of Lithium by Nirvana from 2001... the sample's actually from a jungle cover of Lithium. There are a few weird jumps in there somewhere. I think the needle jumped on your mp3 player.

ALX - I'm Not Gonna Crack

Old school almost donk track (from before the word donk had been invented). The vocal sample is a 17 year old me shouting into a mic taken off an old tape recorder. I think it's from 2001... based on the fact that I spent most of 2000 making UK garage blud.

These are all tracks I made in around 2001, when I was 16/17. They were all made using the sequencer 'Making Waves', which is a bit like a cross between early versions of Fruityloops and Microsoft Excel. Seriously.

All the sounds used were samples; all the synth lines use single stabs which were then sequenced into melodies (Making Waves turned a wav into an instrument, essentially, like a very basic sampler), and the drums are a mix of drumloops and single hits. There were no actual synths used at all, and no VSTi plugins or VST effects. All the effects used are the basic built in ones on the sequencer.
