in the midnight heart of the sea, the grizzled captain scott, embattled by time and tide, was drawn to the jagged silhouette of an uncharted isle. its eerie allure was never of the earthly realm, but the enchanting symphony of the sirens, creatures of unfathomable magnetism. their hypnotic melodies danced on the fog, a concerto of seduction, beckoning him ever closer. oblivious to the pleas of his crew, he gnashed the hull of his once steadfast vessel against the rocks. 

as his boots met the sand, the music softened, giving way to a twilight that shimmered with the soft glow of tasteful lasering. venturing further, the hushed rustling of leaves began to mimic the sirensong, until he stood before a vast web of lustrous silk, an exquisite and uncanny artwork that seemed to hum with the same haunting melody. 

there! six, seven, eight. eyes, leering stars caught in the loom of the night. their pulsating glance met the captain's, casting a spell from which there could be no escape. 

as he clambered, willingly, up into the iridescent web, the whispers of the forest hushed, the sirensong quivered to silence, and an overwhelming darkness descended, swallowing the scene whole. yet the faint echo of a haunting melody persisted in the wind, a spectral lullaby that reverberated against the undulating waves. what fate befell captain scott re:mained shrouded in the mystery of these woods, his tale no more than whispers on the briny air. 

the sea, after all, keeps her secrets well.

huge shout out to the artists of re:linquish, they really accomplished something with this one and i am proud to know them. even though every mistake during this set is blamed 100% on the brain breaking potency of the abyss they unleashed upon us all**

Ghost

the stalk’s feral, gender-bending rework of Springsteen’s ‘Dancing in the Dark’ transforms it into a searing fem resistance anthem. Scorched synths roar over drums that pound like fists against a locked door, each blow weighted with desperation to be heard. Haunting vocal layers shimmer above the dark soundscape, as Bruce’s knack for forging bleak human truths into soaring hooks is etched into a bold rallying cry, demanding movement and defiance ❤️‍🔥
