Description: My first contribution ever to KVR's "One Synth Challenge". This month we were to use U-He's Triple Cheese only. The tune is simple and happy. And I had a lot of fun putting it together.

Yeah the noise based fake train sound and the train horn deserve to be praised!

I like the theme of your composition, it's quite cohesive

fun track! the steamy hiss is a bit rough on my ears but that's all the more realistic

Very nice how it breaks into this straight-on groove.

Nice - but the melody feels a little loud to me.

Very clean and quite fun. I really enjoyed the piece!

One Synth Challenge #154: Triple Cheese by u-he

I tried to make an orchestral song using ONLY Triple Cheese by U-He, which is a freeware synthesizer that doesn't not use samples. Usually for this type of song you'd use an orchestral library comprised of actual samples of people playing real instruments (which would have made this sound way better and way more real), but that wasn't the challenge here. I wanted to synthesize all the sounds and make it as real as possible. I don't think the results sound real, but it sounds better than I expected!

It somehow feels like sacrilege to move so close to Fagen and Becker and mess it up with a dirty Switched-On-Moog lead.

But I think I made up for it by elevating  my way out of trouble by way of dreamy Lyle Maysian key changes in the chorus.
