My set from Esoteric Festival 2022.... Holy hell, what an amazing experience. Still coming down from it 2 weeks later. I can't express how much of an honour it was to play along with some of Australia's most talented DJs/producers. Such an incredible vibe the whole weekend. A delightfully ethereal, whompy and free flowing set I shared to open the fire stage at 9:30am Saturday morning at this years edition of Dragon Dreaming.
This was another dream and honour to share.
My favourite festival to date and my favourite chill set I've shared!
Mixed on the fly, freestyle, without a pre selected track order.
Blending chill, ethereal, blissful tones with deep bass to welcome in the new day and provide a space for beautiful awakening humans to land into their bodies with spacious beats.

A style drenched from influences of golden era Hip Hop fused with Bass music, deep Dubstep & rolling Drum & Bass, his sets are packed full of dope track selection and tight mixing that steadily keeps a dance floor vibing.
Regularly playing at Melbourne’s infamous ‘Homebass’ & ‘SWRVE’ parties hosted by renowned crews Whomp!, Plasma Collaborative, and The Operatives, and supporting international acts like Zed Bias, DJ Marky, Chase & Status, Ivy Lab, Skeptical and more. As well as playing multiple times at Esoteric Festival, Archaic Gathering, Sub-Terra, Rain Dance Festival and Tanglewood Festival.
As a punter, Old China has had constant drive since 2008 to seek out and experience different gigs, parties and festivals both locally and internationally. This alone is a sure indication of the passion & dedication Old China puts into his love for music.
