OLDERIC from Venice makes his debut on Compost Black with this magnificent Alma EP. A strong peak-time package, rounded off by lush remixes by Christian Prommer and Musumeci.
Vinyl collector, producer and resident DJ of CIRQ (one of the most influent underground club in Italy) Olderic is the man behind this fascinating EP 'Alma'. The A side is opened by the title track, which is nothing less than a banger built on purpose to create magic and panic on the dance floor. The dramatic melody break will take you on a journey, the gentle but effective bass and rhythmic patterns combination will shake your senses bringing you back to reality. On the same side Alma receive first class remix treatment by the drum master Christian Prommer who turns the original into a single breath race thanks to an irresistible rhythmical sequence arranged around the anthemic layers of the song. On the B side there is space for the intriguing interlaces and pulsating beats of 'Oasis', a luscious track with a sensual and misterious atmosphere that find emphasis on the remix by Engrave Ltd head Musumeci, who adds his own combination of twisted arpeggios and an outrageous bass line. On top of this already oversized bunch of tunes you will find an extra Christian Prommer Stripped Remix of 'Alma' digitally exclusive. Olderic’s debut on Compost Black Label is definitively an entrance in style!

E&P is the new project of Edmond Weinfeld aka Ed Ed and Petja Virikko. The duo had a certain idea to produce an afterhours tune with emotional content. The result is a cooperation with Jinadu from London who changes his game and delivers a westcoast style vocal which is much deeper then his usual vocals. The lyrics describes a past relationship that still lingers in your head although its long gone. The beats and music frame in this deep melodic tune that will lighten up any afterhour event that it gets to be played.

Hard to believe, but this is actually Olderic’s first solo EP on Connaisseur. After various collaborations, remixes and showcase participations, and as one of our radio show's hosts , the maestro from the CIRQ club near Venice has finally dropped a three-tracker all by himself on Connaisseur.

Straight up, you have definitely noticed at least one of the titles on "The Secret Chambers EP“ in any one set of our Italian family lately, as all tracks have a very prominent sound design you'll easily recognize after having heard them but once.

"Pyramid" is the peak time pleaser of the release, a proper 3am monster designed to create mayhem on the dancefloor. The touching "Hydre Intime“ will more likely find its place in the morning, while the dubby "Walking & Waiting“ is a genuine warm-up tune. A lovely package by a great artist.
