This song is kind of personal.  Revolves around how it feels like I'm always waiting on a phone call.  Either for bad news, or for a big break, etc.  The pressure you feel as you get older and still feel just as lost as when you were 18.  Feeling like you are the only one awake and alive in a world full of sleeping zombies.

Probably the best soundscape I've ever done. This was me at 22, re-imagining my headspace at 11 and trying to make the way my memories sounded flesh. When I was 11, my father passed away due to lymphoma. Plymouth has a topographic feel and an atmosphere that gets underneath your skin, and that is where my father passed. There is gray skies, crashing waves, pseudo forts, brass statues of Sir. Francis Drake, memorials to the Blitzkrieg. More than anything though, I tried to capture how I felt as a kid sitting in a sterile hospital, remembering the reverberations off of the ancient green tiles that lined the walls and trying to follow those echoes wherever they went so I didn't have to be THERE. I thought I understood what was going on but how can an 11 year old? I get interesting feedback every time someone listens to this. I hope the pictures that it paints for you are as interesting as it was a track to make.
