"For us as a record label, the introduction of vibrant new artists will always be something key to our brand. We aim to bring you all the freshest, most exciting underground grime and bass music out of the UK, and are therefore thrilled to be introducing you to none other than remnts (yes, all lower case). Over the last year or so, remnts has really started to blossom, with his futuristic take on wavey 140 themes maturing rapidly, infusing eskimo, future trap and a tonne of other EDM styles to create a truly unique vibe. 

His debut EP with us kicks off with it’s title track ‘internet ain’t real’, which in all honesty sets the tone for the EP perfectly. We get an immediate dosage of what remnts is all about, with rapid fire distorted kick stabs and unpredictable clap patterns running wild whilst spacy arpeggios and emotive synth patterns dance around the outer spheres. Following this, ‘Ethos’ takes us on a similar journey, this time taking a more heavily layered selection bass tones for a drive beneath the incredible array of scattered melodics, topped with some classic eski clicks for good measure. 

We then move into the third and final original of this project, which takes the title ‘back to war mode’, which is a most fitting title indeed. This one takes a really grimey standpoint, bringing hypnotic bell melodies and yet more scattered synth creations into play, creating a real sense of lurking evil. We are also blessed with a potent remix from Defiant, who has also been setting the 140 scene ablaze with his hard hitting productions. He sends ‘internet ain’t real’ to the chopping block for an intensely gutter rework, slicing the melodies into triplet stabs and garnishing with epic horn hits."
