IWYMI is a monthly instrumental Hip Hop compilation designed to showcase various beat makers and producers from all over the world. "It's What You Make It" is not only relative to making any form of art, it's also a metaphor for life and how we all approach things differently.

Tracks on each volume are selected based on style and sound in order to form cohesive releases that flow front to back. With that said, the overall sound and themes presented will vary throughout the series.

En ensam vinterkväll glider en bastu över isen som ett skepp i drömmens hav. Inne i värmen blandar tre musiker ånga och toner, där varje improvisation följer norrskenets slingor över himlen. Utanför vilar Norrlands djupa tystnad – myrar, fjäll och älvar lyssnar lika mycket som publiken. Varje låt är ett kapitel i en nattlig resa, från de första knarrande stegen ut på isen till gryningens första bleka ljus. Det är frostbiten soul, glödande horn och rytmer som värmer långt efter att veden brunnit ut.

I fell in love with drums and percussive instruments from an very early age. My dad is a musician too who plays a variaty of instruments so we've always had quite some 'sound-toys' at home. 2 years after my first day on earth in 1996, he putted me in front of a little Yamaha-Drum-Pad wich became my favorite toy to play with. As I got older, I've started trying a lot of different instruments but I always kept my passion for the percussive element in each of them. The song 'For My Father' was more or less created by accident, I went to the studio to record drums for another project and came up with a sound that I really liked so I recorded a lot of different beats. As I worked on them the day after, all the other elements became part of the song and I couldn't stop thinking about my dad. I finished it and send it to him because he is a very special person in my live and he deserves it. Without him, this journey might have never happened and I'm more than happy for his love and support.
