The hour long set is a smooth ride from textural ambient beginnings all the way to liquid drum & bass, with plenty of minimal, dusty house nestled deep within.

Oleeva Podcast Twenty One: Muther - Baby, don't let me down

Oleeva mainstay Daylesford is responsible for the twenty second podcast in the series. His mix is a deeply warm and satisfying affair, with dusty percussion and restrained melodies throughout. Long, linear builds add a lot of tension that give way to a crescendo of joyous yet nostalgic piano chords to complete the mix. We love this one, hope you do too.

Oleeva Podcast Twenty Two: Daylesford - A Moment to Reflect

It's been a very promising couple of years for the Brussels based artist noc:turne. Since we were first introduced to his captivating music on a boat party in north London in the summer of 2022 he has gone on to play gigs across Europe, launch a record label 'Lost In Translation' and most recently release a stunning remix on the highly respected Swiss imprint 'Project Indigo'. We're not quite sure where doing an Oleeva Podcast lands on this scale of notable achievements, but he's done one nonetheless and its quite something. Dynamic, hypnotic house and techno full of direction and pace. Get to know the wonderful noc:turne with our interview and podcast.

Oleeva Podcast Twenty Three:  noc:turne - Endless Stream of Content

IT-XPO makes his debut on Oleeva with an EP that is leaning towards album territory. The NYC based producer/DJ is most definitely in the zone, sharing 6 new original tracks that sit somewhere between deep house and dub techno. This eclectic release is full of grit and attitude, industrial percussion and beautifully dark energy to lead us from the summer and into the winter.

The EP comes with a remix from one of our favourite producers, Lb Honne, who's album 'a move' blew us away, with its delicate, nuanced productions that still manage to carry so much weight and depth. His remix of Sun Earring is a heads down, hypnotic techno affair that showcases a darker, heavier side to the Swiss artist.

Will You - Miss The Madness (noc:turne Remix)

@martinou3000 is a producer that most certainly found his sound and is well and truly in the zone. He followed up his 2023 album Chiral with a stunning EP on Tiga's label Turbo Recordings, and more recently a remix of DJ Balduin on Kann. His hypnotic yet often serene productions sit somewhere between house, dub techno and trance. 
 
His remix of The Space Between is classic Martinou. Patient beginnings with delicate melodies contrast the heavier, rhythmic drum patterns. A distant arp slowly comes into focus before leaving us with a minimal, percussive outro.

Prior to its release on September 1st we present Hayun, the joyous second track from Sam Goku's EP. It is an emotive fanfare of gliding violins dancing above a conquering bassline. The accompaniment of birdcalls, blistering cicadas and trumpeting elephants result in the record feeling somewhat like an ode to mother nature. A track that emanates the surge of energy felt when exploring the wild. If you have the opportunity, we strongly recommend listening to this one whilst out in the nature. Wherever you hear it, we hope it makes you feel.

Didacte - Laho

The Hamburg man of many talents @felixwittich is back on Oleeva and yet again he makes writing deep, melodic house look easy. When we were first introduced to Felix, he already had a few accomplished bootlegs under his belt. Having plied his articulate touch to both Parcels and Bon Iver, it quickly became apparent the young man is a gifted remixer and bootlegger. We've been regularly asking him to remix Oleeva tracks since, and he always delivers. His take on 21 M♢♢N WATER is no different. Another fine example of his patient but heavy hitting house music we've come to know and love.

Exactly 7 days before its full release, we give you the first play of West & Hill's mighty take on Obala. This gorgeous afro-house cut has been gracing dance floors far and wide over the past few months. From secret LA warehouses and rooftops in New York all the way to the pine tree covered coastline of Croatia. This is our first release with Maastricht based artist West & Hill and we certainly hope its not the last.

The tenth rework in the series comes from Daniel Verhagen. His delicate chords and textured, organic take on electronic music have been a calming presence in the oleeva catalogue. This beautiful edit of Ed Carlsen's Otto has all of Daniel's trademark touches and we're so happy to finally be sharing it. The perfectly fitting photograph was snapped on 35mm film in Canada by the amazing Brie Frégeau.
