This remix (March 20024) removes the rim shot (which was driving me nuts) and adds a new drum section.  
The nspiration is Ann Leckie's award winning "Ancillary Justice"  epic, written back in 2014. How did I miss it? 
This is  the first track on a mini-album and is meant to reflect the overall theme: the hyper rational determination of the central character (Breq) to deliver justice against an empire bent on brutal annexations.  Hmmm.....
The cover art is from a limited edition of the book and is by Lauren Saint-Onge.

I didn't go through this adventure, thanks mum!

- The Science - Note that according to the current state of knowledge, the fetus is not capable of feeling pain before 22 weeks. 

Pour une interruption volontaire de grossesse à 14 semaines en France, il est dit que le fœtus doit être démembré et sa tête écrasée avant d'être retiré .....
Je n'ai pas vécu cette aventure, merci maman !

Takahama Kyoshi was a Japanese poet active during the Shōwa period of Japan. He was the editor of the haiku magazine Hototogisu (previously edited by Shiki), where he promoted a more traditional style of haiku, as opposed to other popular schools which did not follow the pattern of seventeen syllables at that time.
Kyoshi also highlighted the symbolic function of the kigo (the seasonal reference), even though the more modern trends were already tending towards seasonless haiku.
