Borderlands is a tune I've had in the works for quite a while and I always thought the music and tone of the track would work expressed in a half-time format, so I tried this out a few months ago. 
Although the full tempo D&B version is the one for the EP, both Julien and I still love this alternate version, so we thought we'd put it out as a reprise version for free, hope you enjoy

We're proud to present our next release from Dead End, an electronic music producer from Portugal. Throughout his time this producer has carved new sonic paths and pushed his creative limits. He takes inspiration from Hip-hop, Halftime, and Dubstep and amalgamates this inspiration to create experimental bass music. The 'Caught The Body' EP opens up a whole new world of experimentation and introduces sub-genres the listener isn't familiar with. This project is loaded with soft textures, original samples, and dirty basses that will resonate in your ears but also on the dancefloor.

Born in 1980, Vincent Gascoin - artist name LOG1N - grew up listening to a lot of soul and rock music.
At the age of 14 he began his musical education learning the drums,
His love for electronic music began with a friend from highschool, when they decided to throw money into the pot and purchase a Supernova, a Groovebox and a sampler and teamed up to perform local gigs, their music ever shifting towards big beat, jungle and drum and bass.
As life went on, L0G1N, graduating from musical school, started playing regularly in the local big band,learned the bass and found numerous acts to play with throughout his life, including funk, rock, metal,hip hop and reggae bands as a drummer or bass player.
A few years later he began trying to fuse jazz, funk and world music influences with electronic rhythms,
then he became obsessed with drum and bass sound design and mixing, and settled with a Linux
environment, which makes him a bit of a nerd even in the producers community. Rolling basses and
funky breaks are the driving force behind his music.
With numerous releases on BTK's Dutty Audio and Twisted Individuals' Grid Recordings, one release on Impact Music and some future releases on Delta9 and T3K Recordings, LOG1N is in search of a better connection with his audience, always willing to put his hard work to the
test. His music as of late could be classified as minimal/rollers, weaving dark atmospheres into sparse rolling drops, focused on heavy hitting drums and powerful bass chops, always treading on mysterious pads and dissonant chords.
