A highlight from the iTunes #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’, Ryan Davis’ melancholic beauty ‘Brun’ gets reworked by two leading lights of the European underground, Luca Bacchetti and Matthias Meyer. Over the past decade Ryan Davis has carved out his own niche, with a unique brand of melodic techno, attracting wide-spread support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Jonas Rathsman, Stephan Bodzin and Max Cooper. 

Following releases on Crosstown Rebels, Saved and Ovum over the past few years, along with a string of stand-out remixes, Italian producer Luca Bacchetti offers up a signature rework, intertwining an subtle groove with delicate cinematic chords that compliment the spacey sentiments of the original.

Hamburg influencer and Watergate resident Matthias Meyer takes the stage for the second remix, debuted in James Grant’s recent Deep House Amsterdam mix. Meyer offers a textured roller, infusing classic house elements that resonate beautifully alongside the original’s cosmic soundscapes; an uplifting and emotive dancefloor moment.

Ryan Davis - Brun (Matthias Meyer Remix)

Guy J’s Lost & Found is riding high in 2016 with its flow of exceptional releases that now continue with an amazing new production talent coming out of the vibrant Argentinian scene. Kevin Di Serna makes his Lost & Found debut here with two gorgeous tracks. Fresh from releases on Alola, SexOnWax, Subtract, and (of course) fellow countryman and superstar DJ Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat label, Kevin’s releases have been on Guy J’s radar for quite some time, so it was only a matter of time before Lost & Found’s main man would choose to release some amazing music that fits perfectly with the label’s ethos.

Fellow rising Argentinian star, Ditian, has teamed up with his compatriot on ‘Crystal Forest’ to create a beautifully melodic track with shimmering flourishes and a lovely, deeply hypnotic groove, which is perfectly suited to those wonderful summer sunshine moments. This delightful track is complimented by the deeper reverence and more laidback sounds of ‘Dallah’, which is an enthralling solo effort by Kevin.

Lost & Found is steadily building a catalogue of releases that are uniquely joyous, uplifting, intelligent and beautiful. This is music to hold close to your heart and this is a label that everyone should, most definitely, always keep on their music radar.

Hailing from Volgograd in Russia, Modd a.k.a. Stanislav Klimushin has burst onto the scene in 2017 with a flurry of well received releases on tastemaker labels All Day I Dream and Kindisch. Having debuted with ‘Inki’ on our Anjunadeep Explorations series earlier this year, Modd returns with the four track ‘Guron EP’, showcasing his lush brand of emotive deep house.

Title track ‘Guron’ is a subtle blend of spacey atmospherics and warm grooves, whilst ‘Mohican’ and ‘Tryusolee’ weave dramatic melodies with energetic percussion. Modd rounds off his diverse debut EP with sunset gem ‘Swan Meadow’.

Last year, A.M.R graced our label with several extraordinary EPs and quickly established himself as one of the leading deep house talents on our roster. Since the August 2017 release of "The Midnight Remixed," one of the most thrilling and spiritually rewarding endeavors in our label's history, Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle, better known as The Midnight, have released a #1 Billboard Dance album ("Kids") and toured much of North America, Europe, and Australia. It is safe to say that the acclaimed discography and global popularity of the Los Angeles and Atlanta-based duo have both grown dramatically, since we at Silk Music last had the privilege of developing and releasing new remixes of their indelible tunes. Indeed, The Midnight is currently in the midst of another world tour, which will take them through the United States, Europe, and ultimately, Mexico, near the end of this year.

Flash forward to today, as we joyously announce the sequel, "The Midnight Remixed 02," featuring brand new remixes of more favorites by The Midnight, from "The Years" (off their debut EP, "Days Of Thunder") to "Lost Boy" (the first single from their most recent LP, "Kids"). This time around, we have recruited a cast of (almost) entirely fresh faces on remix detail, including legendary synthwave artist Timecop1983, indie-electronic phenom Uppermost, acclaimed retro-tinged act ERKKA, and deep-and-dark-progressive maestro Nox Vahn. Russian sensation PROFF, the only artist to appear on both 'Remixed' editions, offers a visionary take on "Kids" that brims with creativity, power, and musicality alike. Rounding out the extraordinary roster of remix artists, Silk Music veterans Claes Rosen, Dan Sieg, Kobana, Blood Groove & Kikis, Jayeson Andel, and A.M.R all deliver emotive and inspired renderings, ranging in style from introspective deep house cuts to cinematic-electronic power ballads.
