Happy 2023 to all of our amazing followers!!  Hope everyone is keeping well and safe and all of the best to you all in '23!

Our first feature of the year features a man who rapidly making a name for himself in the underground scene, Rich Emby from Normandy, France!

Rich Emby is a DJ originally from Leicester in th UK but now living in a sleepy part of France. He dabbled in the local Leicester scene some years a go but with more emphasis on the party side of things rather than pushing to great heights. This time around was brought on like a lot of other DJs through the covid pandemic as a way to keep his sanity. 

The Deeply Jacked series on Mixcloud (coming to Soundcloud in 2023) was started in that time and has morphed it's way into what it is today. He now works with other like minded DJs supporting the artists that they admire, bouncing ideas and digging deep into the box to find those forgotten gems. Underground house never really dies so giving these tunes a new lease of life is what drives him as well as spending countless hours discovering the new ones. It has become a big part of his life and is driven through his passion for the music. 

As the series suggests his style is just that, Deep & Jackin house music influenced by Jazz, hip hop, soul and funk but also those squelchy acid sounds and old school Chicago house feel. What ever he plays he always tries to bring energy and an unpredictability to his mixes.
