German DJ/producer Butch returns to Rekids with the ‘Official Bump Call’ EP 22nd May 2026. It marks his first release on the label since 2011’s ‘Raw Beats’ two-tracker, followed by a 2018 appearance remixing Basement Jaxx’s ‘Good Luck’. This time, Snatch! Records boss Riva Starr joins for a remix fresh off the back of his ‘Shine A Light’ EP on Radio Slave’s main imprint.

Butch’s ‘Official Bump Call’ plays with live, loose, and funky drum breaks that ride a swollen bassline. Toms and congas pepper the groove as steamy vocals inject the soul. It's a dusty, heartfelt House sound that balances vintage samples with his signature production prowess, making for a sure-fire summer heater. Riva Starr is an equally influential producer who heads up the Snatch! label and has been turning out essential House sounds for many years. His remix beefs up the drums while keeping the slow-burning vocal heat front and centre, creating a devastatingly deep yet driving sound.

'Foxtrot Uniform' is another tasteful jumble of soul, funk, and gospel motifs with a lived-in house groove that's instinctive and real. Emotions bubble up but never boil over as the tension builds, culminating in an utter dance-floor release when the diva's vocal erupts. It's a masterclass in control and release.

Butch has a vast discography spanning labels such as Life And Death, Running Back, Defected, Innervisions, Diynamic, Starr’s Snatch!, and many more, while traversing myriad subgenres. For the second installment in the 'Collaboratory Remixes' project we are very proud to continue the top class producer list and announce 3 stellar versions by none other than Ben Klock, John Daly and Deetron. 

First up Bug and Clé's tender 'Month Of Sip' is given a deep and pumping autumnal techno remix by Ben Klock. Pushing, dubby and expressive in its subtle details, this is begging to be dropped in the biggest of rooms as the heavy kick thumps right the way through the track. Drifiting, surging and developing over nearly 8 minutes its a warm and welcome entry to the record.

Veteran hero Deetron opens up the B side with his equally epic remix of 'Trees Cant Dance'. Tough analogue beats and retro vibes greet us from the outset, as the vibe leads us towards a jacking detroit-themed club bomb. Lush arrpegiated synth cascades and an uplifting arrangement are the key to this peak time floorworker. 

John Daly's slow house version of 'Trust In Me feat. Virginia' is an amazingly deep cut that builds from a stomping kick into a whirlwind of carefully controlled acidic atmospherics, melodic sentiments and haunting vocal refrains. Rounding up the B side perfectly, Daly pulls off a dream feat by melting Virginia's vocals around a timeless slice of electronic hypnosis.

Premiere: DFRA - Charlene (Jon Dixon Remix) [Ascension Of Wax]

Ready Mix Records steps up once again with a special release #297. A proper cross-continental link-up loaded with pedigree and raw underground energy. House veteran John Creamer makes a heavyweight return to the label, teaming up with Costa Rica's studio head FALFÁN for a brand-new cut, 'See You Again.' On remix duties, the package gets seriously stacked, calling in Joeski, Sebastian Corral, and label boss BiGz, each bringing their own flavor to the table.

The Original Mix wastes no time setting the tone, pure Creamer energy straight out of the early 2000s era. That signature bounce is in full effect, riding on a bed of layered drums and syncopated vocal FX that weave in and out like a late-night conversation. There's a gritty NYC tribal edge running through it, hypnotic and relentless, built for sweaty rooms and long sets. 

Joeski steps in and flips the script with an afro-infused tribal tech workout. He cranks up the heat with heavy percussive licks, rolling rhythms, and a thicker low-end that gives the track a more primal, driving force. It's stripped yet powerful, designed to lock dancers into a groove and keep them there.

Sebastian Corral takes things into progno territory. His version is a forward-moving journey, tight, atmospheric, and subtly melodic, layering acid lines throughout with precision. It's the kind of remix that builds patiently before unleashing its full impact on a late set.

For the finale, BiGz delivers a straight-up progressive workout. Staying true to the original as a core reference point, he preserves its essence while beefing it up with his own signature grooves and rolling rhythms. The result is clean, driving, hypnotic, with a bassline that keeps things flowing.

Sublease returns with a second Fragments installment, bringing together four cuts that lean into detail, restraint and late-night movement. Across the release, Em Pathik, Marco Weber and TERANA each approach deep house from slightly different angles, shaped by rolling grooves, subtle shifts in texture and an instinct for atmosphere over excess.

Em Pathik opens the release with “Dimensions”, a deep and fluid dancefloor track driven by a weighty groove, tightly wound percussion and restrained melodic details. The track gradually pulls listeners into its hypnotic flow while understated vocal elements drift through the arrangement. As Em Pathik explains, the intention was to create something simple but immersive, a track that invites listeners to let go, get carried away by the groove and stay locked into the moment.

Marco Weber follows with “Lola”, blending deep, driving house grooves with a warm and hypnotic atmosphere. Rolling basslines and crisp rhythmic elements carry the track forward while subtle melodic layers create a sense of constant motion beneath the surface. With its immersive energy “Lola” captures the feeling of a late-night dancefloor where emotion and rhythm settle into a steady flow.

“Play Around” sees TERANA lean into a reflective and warm-spirited mood, balancing hypnotic grooves with airy melodic touches and understated vocal details. As TERANA explains: “Play Around” invites listeners to drift as they reflect on their own life’s perspective, to view it as an unfolding path of learning and experience. Beneath its warm groove lies a reminder to stay present, move with kindness, and enjoy the moment without holding on too tightly.

Closing the EP, Steve Bug reshapes “Play Around” into a more driving version, stretching the groove into deeper territory while preserving the track’s reflective core. With subtle tension, carefully placed textures and a steady sense of movement, the remix rounds off Fragments, Vol. 02 with a measured but effective late-night touch.
