NFNR - Totally Stranger For You - 2017

Lami Naylf is my music project in the style of minimal techno (sometimes dipping into deep techno, dark minimal techno), featuring romantic dark melodies, pads, backgrounds, monotonous rhythms, and recorded live effects. A bit of history: I started this project in 2007, but didn't release any tracks or albums. I performed at festivals and clubs. Not long ago, I stumbled upon archives of my music projects. I found many tracks, from which I selected these 10 for this release. I remastered them. It seemed to me that these tracks tell one story for this album that you're currently listening to.

Most of these tracks were made using early samplers and synthesizers that I was already learning and playing with at that time, besides the software I had been using since the late 90s on early computers. Also, at that time, I was collecting and recording sounds of nature – so in most tracks, you can hear live sounds of animals and birds, nature, and everything that rustles, hisses, rings, sings, and screams – it plays instead of bass, plays instead of effects, and does everything in parallel with electronic sounds... It was all collected and combined together to be beautiful, rhythmic, and harmonious.

Some of these tracks I already released back then on labels like CTS Records (track Lanineylf-Algat) and Midi8 (track Dunaewsky69–Lk).

Now I want to continue this project because I have the desire and many new interesting ideas in this style.

I'm also involved in other music projects.
