Northling illuminate Reflections once again with their new single ‘Lights’.

Hailing from Lancashire, this talented collective of six musicians originally formed as an improvisational group in 2017, and since then, their distinctive blend of haunting, cinematic indie-electronica has earned them support from the likes of BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music.

'Lights' comes as the first single from an upcoming EP project, marking their second release through Reflections, following their last EP Tycho. Born from a series of studio sessions, this song showcases the band's collective writing skills. Departing from their signature dynamic drums, ‘Lights’ embraces a delicate composition enriched by guitar melodies and pulsating samples, setting the tone for the EP's cinematic journey.

As part of the EP, Northling will be hosting an EP launch in London September, with additional tour dates including Anjunadeep Open Air in Finsbury Park.

First selected and premiered on Anjunadeep 14 by James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, John Monkman releases 'Shadows Falling'. The London-based producer and live act is head of record label Beesemyer, known for releasing artists such as Pete Tong and Theo Kottis. The release will be Monkman's second standalone release with Anjunadeep. His debut release on the label, a remix of Solomon Grey's 'Twilight', reached number 1 on the Beatport charts and was supported by the likes of Pete Tong, Jonas Rathsman and Skream.

'Shadows Falling' is a anthemic track comprising of rolling snares, emotive strings and repeating vocal chops that create a long and suspenseful build of energy ready for peak-time dancefloor moments. The track is coupled with the 'Asriel Mix', an ambient version that sees the track become an emotive, cinematic piece.

Christophe Dubé aka CRi announces his forthcoming sophomore album ’Miracles’ with the release of the first single ‘I Can Make It’.

A self-taught former pizza delivery driver turned full-time musician, CRi joined the Anjunadeep roster in 2019, and gained attention from the label fanbase, and radio titans Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Jason Bentley with his ‘Initial EP’. His debut artist album ‘Juvenile’ released the year later received unexpected support and was nominated for Best Electronic Album at the JUNO Awards, and three separate titles at the 2021 ADISQ Awards, including Electronic Album of the Year and ‘Revelation’ of the Year, which CRi won.

On this first album single, ‘I Can Make It’, Christophe debuts on vocals, creating an uplifting ambience surrounded by warm and rhythmic synths and a thumping bassline. This equally danceable and soothing track sets an optimistic and hopeful tone for the rest of the album.

The album will be accompanied by a three-member live tour kicking off in North America this October, with a hometown show at Montréal’s iconic Mtelus, which regularly plays host to indie-electronic stars, including, Metronomy, Jungle, Monolink and Max Cooper. Our Anjuna friends can catch CRi playing at The Gorge Amphitheatre, make sure you keep an ear out for any unreleased music.

Amsterdam-based producer, singer-songwriter, and DJ Nicky Elisabeth returns to Anjunadeep with club heater ‘Dusk'. 

‘Dusk’ is an expansive instrumental track that combines atmospheric pads with a deep, gritty lead line and soft, melodic arpeggios. With a sparse use of vocal chops, the percussion moves the track forward, creating an engaging groove ready for the dance floor.

Her high-energy sets won fans over at destination festival Anjunadeep Explorations this June, and Nicky is set to do the same at even bigger label events this year, with appearances at prestigious venues including the Brooklyn Mirage, The Gorge Amphitheatre, Colorado’s Red Rocks, and London’s Finsbury Park in her busy schedule.
