Rhythm of the heart speaks for it self, there are limited lyrics. It is defined by its rhythmic imitation of a heart beat yet also encapsulates the strength of heart one may use to face their own idea of self and the fragility of their own identity when spending a life basing your inherent value on material possessions. The pain this truth and ego death causes

Quest is the literal verbalising of technique in meditation and the idea to just be, watching the mind and your thoughts before questioning who the watcher is. The lesson that is able to be attained with out even listening to the lyrics is to just be. The idea that everything just is. Alleviating our ideas of how life should be and what right and wrong is, that we can rise above the constructs we perceive and rather be present in the now, acting in love.

Quest

Bones is a reflection on our bodily conditions in a lighter tone than the previous track to elevate the mental confrontation and introspection. We are conditioned from when we are born in the ‘Maya‘ illusion. This is the illusion that we are seperate from the world around us as we see our body seperate from the ground. In reality our energetical make up of atoms renders our connection to the rest of the universe infinite. This can be experienced based on ones relative perspective on reality. For example ones reality may differ in deep states of meditation or psychedelic drugs.
Bones plays on this concept in the humorous notion that we are literally just bones, taking our own perspective very seriously.

The idea behind trance is to kick off the journey into the EP, helping to relax the mind with didgeridoo before shocking it with pulsing rhythm that continues throughout building in intensity and soul. I hope that Trance gives a lesson in depth in music, carrying the mind away from its habitual tendencies to a deeper meditive train of thought.

Trance

Ojas Anicca is a multi Instrumentalist, singer/song writer from the Northern Beaches of Sydney. He has created his own style of music from the heart and uniquely plays like no other. The raw expression he brings to live performances both brings listeners to tears and entrances dance floors. To try and explain his style you could imagine; The skill of a flamenco guitarist with the hypnotic similarities to ‘Estas Tonne’. The Flute playing of an American Indian, The Didgeridoo (Yidaki) playing of an Elder & the voice of a Viking Jeff Buckley. Other instruments that can be heard in his songs are Duduk, Violin, Viola, Piano, Synth & Harmonica.
