Bo Mac have been working on this album for a year. It has been a cathartic experience where real people have brought their lives onto tape. The album's energy charts highs and lows and ends with a thunderstorm. Big numbers like 'It's Us Against the World' are balanced by gentler tunes like 'I Remember You', in which you are enveloped by warm vocals and bending guitar notes, soaring and settling. Its inspiration is from the rock and roll bands of the 70s, but a modern edge and millennial vigour has come from the band's members gigging and jamming in Camden's pubs and bars. The band consists of three siblings and their friends. They hope that you enjoy this album; and that it speaks loudly. Keep Glam and Rock on Bo Mac.

When all of this is over, I will be getting in the studio with friends and the brilliant drummer, my brother, Mr. Fred Bond and smash these out with some new material.  Very excited. Love Me Like A Lover

This track was written early on in the writing partnership between myself and @phoebegrace up in a small room above the ambulance depot on Tottenham Court Road. 

We had just bought Buddy Miles live from Sounds of the Universe in Soho. The version of ‘Down by the River’ seriously blew our minds. Especially the trombone solo. 

Booked in to record in Cambridge the following week with an old friend of mine, Will Walter. We played a live session - freely. 

That was in 2017. Since, the session has sat quietly on my hard drive, shown to friends and family. The track has morphed into a more complex piece and the final and happy addition was a saxophone recording by Laura Misch. 

We had met in a sunny pub garden in Sussex. I remember that I smashed a pot hole that afternoon and turned up late with a replacement wheel... very rockstar. 

She was very gracious and showed an interest in my music and recorded a piece that was immediately recognisable as her. I’m lucky to have it. 

It’s influenced by that Buddy Miles record, nods to THE Neil Young solo that was the first I mastered on guitar (not saying much). That’s a tall claim but I’m standing on their shoulders. 

I hope you enjoy the track. I’ve had it up my sleeves for years now and I am excited to let it go and fly. Please #share FLARES.

I’ve worked as a dep musician, now in family group @tinnedpeaches (https://www.tinnedpeaches.co.uk).

I’m a massive fan of SoundCloud and it’s community, we all have vast sonic backdrops in our lives and I’ve spent a lot of time in this garden. Finding like minded, creative people world over keeps me focused on what I can bring to the table. There are an awful lot of guitars in cash converters nowadays. Let’s keep the faith.
