Stefnitz is a superb cook. Her stew is a percussive mix of tunes with an electronic saucy base, a tinge of weird, a pinch of psychedelic with a side of tropical trip techno and some acid disco sprinkles on top. She has all the right ingredients and more important: knows how to use 'm!

In the underground scene of Amsterdam Stefnitz is very well known for her tantalizing stews. Every crowd craves for her music and the exquisite flavors she exudes from behind the DJ booth are vibrant from afar. Her original taste for funky fresh crazy flesh ingredients is so fine it's absolutely a big honor to finally have a brew of her to kickstart the Mbuki Mvuki Movement further! When tasting her mix, you just want to take off all your clothes so you can dance around naked!

Tiefenentspannt und gemütlich im Herbst angekommen, drehen wir heute unsere Runde mit Jasmin alias Pokka aus Leipzig. 

Sie lebt mittlerweile seit ca. 4 Jahren in der pulsierenden, von Diversität und Kreativität geprägten Stadt. Im So&so begann ihre DJ-Laufbahn―ein Ort, den die Leipziger Club-Landschaft heute leider vermissen muss. Jedoch wirkte sie ebenfalls in weiteren Bereichen der Club- und Festivalszene mit und bespielte auch bereits die Dancefloors einiger Open Air Veranstaltungen. Leicht wehmütig denken wir daher an das Event des Verbund Leipziger Kollektive (VAK) diesen Sommer zurück, währenddessen ein Teil unserer Crew die Freude hatte, sie kennen zu lernen. Seit kurzem ist sie nun auch selbst Teil des VAKs―ein Kollektiv, welches sich in der Leipziger Feierkultur vor allem durch seine waghalsigen Entwürfe von Utopien innerhalb unkommerzieller Räume einen Namen gemacht hat.

Passend hierzu hat sie ein Titelfoto für ihren Mix für uns gewählt, welches auf dem Nation of Gondwana Festival dieses Jahr entstanden ist. Wie sie beschreibt, fängt dieses das einzigartige Gefühl ein, endlich wieder ein Teil alternativer Welten werden zu können, die sich nach so langer Pause über eine besonders ausgelassene Energie entladen.

Musikalisch glänzt Pokka mit sehr unterschiedlichen Stilrichtungen: Von Downtempo über Hip Hop, Trip Hop, bis hin zu organisch-ethnischen Klängen ist alles dabei. Wichtig ist ihr dabei vor allem, dass der schwierige Spagat zwischen „deep-dark“, „gefühlvoll“ aber „nicht zu cheesy“ gelingt.

Gelungen, würden wir sagen! Ihr Set passt gerade perfekt in unsere Reihe―verspielt, gefühlvoll und dennoch gelassen, genau wie der leicht wehmütige Abschied aus dem Sommer.

Morpha, real name - Alexander, was born in the south of Russia, currently based in St. Petersburg. He was signed to labels such as Secuencia Temporales, Profundo Collective, KVLTO Records. He is one of the founders of the young community "Ephemeral". A community focused on promoting deep, techno sound in Russia and beyond.

His sets are eclectic and profound experiences, his attention to details and subtle sound design are the signature of his work.

Frozen states and gentle frequencies are to be expected from this spiritual journey.

Layers of ethno-spiritual textures drift like incense smoke over a foundation of deep, purposeful kicks that anchor the listener's journey.

The silence isn't empty space; it's pregnant with possibility, allowing each sound to breathe with intentional weight. Organic percussion elements dance with synthesized atmospheres, creating a soundscape that feels both ancient and futuristic. Israel is only the executioner, every nation which has armed that country in the past year is an accessory to that genocide, an accomplice, a facilitator.  We cannot talk about war crimes because when you target unarmed civilians, mostly women and children, we are talking about a massacre, like terrorists do, not a war. The people who orchestrated that massacre, in the US, the most duplicitous, followed by those of the UK, Germany, France, and probably a few lesser ones should be tried for crimes against humanity just as well as Netanyahu and his cabinet, because it has been going on for two years, generously reported by media of all kinds, so the enablers knew exactly how the arms were to be used, as a tool for revenge, domination, and humiliation of the Palestinian people.  The conflict has ceased to be about the defense of anything for months.

The parties responsible have made a mockery of decency, morals, fairness, proportion, or justice, not to mention empathy.  Of what little there was, these concepts will be a lot longer to come back than they were to be struck down.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
