We are being welcomed into a new month - a new moon - with a very special podcast created by MarinJah. Her daily life consists out of working with energies being a Qiqong teacher - and this is without a doubt reflected in her love for sounds and vibrations through music.

As ‘Mbuki Mvuki’ stands for that irresistible feeling to just take off all your clothes so you can dance around freely, it’s exactly that energy she put into this mix: by dancing you can feel your soul and your body moving the sounds.

Although being aware that the music industry is still mainly man-dominated, we can definitely say that we are happy to see that slowly the female energy is more expressed in the scene and starts to flow stronger! MarinJah loves female DJ’s for the emotions sensible in their mixes, finding this way to balance the heart and mind and move you deeply.

Space Medicine is the practice of Deep Organic Music on astronauts in outer space. Tremulant is the application of science and technology to the prevention or control of exposure to the hazards that may cause space wanderers ill health. Tremulant works to ensure that people in space work in a safe environment while experiencing the freshest sounds from planet Earth.

"For this mix, I imagined a story in which I’m traveling on a spaceship with friends. I opted for some fresh cosmic house as this is what I’d play as we delve into the starry paradise and enjoy intergalactic drinks. 

The concept of Space Opera really inspired me to collect hypnotic, atmospheric and beat driven tracks to create a soundtrack for friends exploring the unknown mysteries of space together."

Co-founder and curator of label and mix series channel Tepeme Música, Pol Balam delves into eclecticness through a sublime music perception. Before creating the label, he used to write reviews for new releases in electronic music outlets. 

As a fan of conceptual storytelling, his mixes are never the same; from trip hop to hypnotic house, he’s got quite the miscellaneous taste that balances exotic, colorful, psychedelic and dark.

Hard to put into words how special that night was.

Last year on Christmas Day was held Inchala Yard, a very special event in my favorite spot in town. Inchala has been the place I felt the most at home at, part thanks to the beautiful environment, but mostly because of its community and care for one another. Inchala Yard was an event for grounding, gathering and celebrating the end of the year together, having the opportunity to play there was a pure blessing. 

The recorded set follows what this event is about, an introspective voyage of slow and deep sounds, helping one make a pause, reflect, hug and cherish loved ones.

I cannot thank enough Samie and the Inchala community for being kind and welcoming hearts. I will feel forever grateful to have crossed path and shared moments like this.
