Over the course of his musical journey, he transitioned from the spotlight to the dynamic world behind the scenes, delving into artist and label management, event production, and advocating for the nightlife. His deep-seated love for music and culture underscores a career that is as diverse as his beats, driven by a passion that has taken root in the South African music scene. 🎶🌍

🎶 What is the story of how you joined Love Foundation? 🎧
I was introduced to Love Foundation in 2019 during the Waking Life Festival in Portugal. The collective community and the project's charitable essence deeply resonated with me. I stayed connected with the project for some time, and when the opportune moment arrived, I, along with some incredible individuals from Malmö and Copenhagen, opened a Love Foundation hub in Copenhagen.

🎶 Do you believe that love can be communicated without words? If yes, how have you experienced this? 🎧
Absolutely, love is a language often spoken without words, and I feel it profoundly in the community on the dancefloor. When everyone is present, connected through the music, there's a unique energy that transcends verbal communication. It's in the collective rhythm, the shared movements, and the unspoken understanding between individuals. The dancefloor becomes a space where emotions flow seamlessly, and the language of love is expressed through the universal language of music.

"I wanted to experiment with this mix, something different to what you would normally hear. I wanted to showcase what House Music With Love means to me. By using long break downs with long chord progressions wherever I could I looked for a melodic summer day type vibe. But at the core of the sound was my inspiration from home." - Oli Neate

Mix inspiration:
For the past few months, it has been very difficult for me to find the time and or inspiration to record or produce anything.  But recently after starting a few spontaneous parties in the parks in Sweden and sometimes playing for up to 14 hours this spark has come back to me and I am glad to be mixing again!
This one starts off very slow as me and my friends sat back in the studio with a glass of wine but picks up quite quickly as you being to move around the space!

🗯🗯 How did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

Despite club and festival gigs being cancelled for I was lucky enough to be in Sweden where did not have a lockdown and we were allowed to do small open-air events up to 50 people in the public parks. I and a group of friends quickly bought a generator and started with some small bi-weekly social dist-dancing. We managed to have many great days with intimate crowds in the sun most of the summer without any cases!

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

I recorded this mix from my living/ home studio where I am spending most mytime these days.

I spent the last month in South Africa with my family and I just got back to Sweden 2 days ago after some very stressful travel days.

The mix to me was like this change from the summer in South Africa to the Winter in Sweden.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

Change! Corona has definitely shown us that many industries and lifestyles are unsustainable and hopefully we soon see a change to this!
