most instruments heard in this track are real, but fragmented and mangled into tiny little pieces

The astonishingly deep lore of the game meant the intended emotional evocations were incredibly specific. It also needed to be able to slow down to  half speed (and slower!) while still sounding good. It took over a hundred hours and multiple rewrites for me to be satisfied. Over half an hour of material was created, the ideas were distilled into this.

Some of you might be wondering what the hell's going on at the end. So, all thirty of these tracks are each made in under 24 hours, most in under 12. "trifecta" took JUST under 24 hours, and I was running out of time. However, the idea was to imply that now that this album's finished, "I'm just getting started". This is why you hear an orchestra tuning near the end. The final abstract sounds are supposed to represent what's to come.

Fun fact, the ten tracks in THIRTY三十 add up to exactly (to the sample) 30 minutes of music.

So far, this is the most complex electronic piece I have ever made, taking about 5 months to assemble. 

 I suppose this piece is in A quarter sharp & quarter flat minor. To explain, every instrument is moving up and down in pitch slowly, at different speeds. These slow vibrati give a strange, enriching vibrancy to the harmony, especially when interacting with another instrument.

 The piece was composed and constructed using FL Studio, Adobe Audition and Audiosculpt 3.0. After literally hundreds of crashes, the piece was split into 12 parts to save on CPU usage, then stitched back together.
