Part 2 of the Propaganda remixes picks up where the first left off. Gathering together some of the finest talent in contemporary techno, Oliver Huntemann’s killer LP from late 2017 gets more new reworks and remixes.

'Momentum' is flipped by the ever dependable André Winter, who’s deep and groovy interpretation brings new textures to the orignal and will delight fans of his previous work.

Fur Coat, the producer duo originally from Venezuela and now based in Barcelona, bring their own specific flavour to one of the album highlights, 'Egoist'. Their remix is a stripped down driving techno cut with a deeply acidic undertone.

Olivier Giacomotto, the techno producer from Bordeaux, France, provides a electro infused rework of 'Vertigo', adding sharp
808 patterns, a thick cut groove, and eventually some deep pads to his version.

'Malaria' gets the treatment by SHADED who drops his Dark Stab mix. Skyler Patrick Taugher, the Californian behind the
SHADED moniker, brings a particularly tough mix for one of Huntemann’s key tracks - a sure fire peak time winner.

Another album highlight 'Doppelgänger' is remixed by Berlin resident and Upon You boss Marco Resmann, adding layers of
dynamic rhythym with which to counterpoint his edgy pads and deep synth touches.

'Trick17' is giving a mix by Senso regular Distale. A filthy, low roller with fathoms-deep sub bass and and sparkling percussion.

The young Russian Maksim Dark adds his own interpretation of 'Poltergeist' to the release, edging up the darkness a little
more and producing a growling, tough techno workout that will go over big on a lot of floors this year.

The man from Rostock, Carlo Ruetz, provides a slick dub of 'Der schwarze Kanal’, stripping away any superfluous sounds
and setting the controls fort he heart oft he dancefloor.

Long-time executive producer for label boss Oliver Huntemann and other artists, André Winter is also the man behind a number of prolific underground projects and releases sind 1995. Most recently André focusses on releases under his real name and now he drops his third tough-as-nails EP on Senso Sounds - both tracks primed for serious mainroom detonation.
'Argo' builds the tension expertly, before whipping us into delirium via deep synth bass tones that will shake club systems worldwide. The sound design is exceptional, provi- ding plenty of space in the mix amongst the groove. 'Norse' increases the BPM a notch or two, and delivers a hypnotic, loopy groove built around tightly programmed drums and an infectious melodic line. Once the huge lead synth lands, you can see why this is destined to melt some minds on discerning dancefloors this year.

Senso Sounds collects together a fantastic remix package of Oliver Huntemann’s 'Propaganda' album. The longplayer dropped last year to much fanfare, richly deserving the praise for one of the longest serving techno dons in the European
scene.

First up is Brazilian DJ and producer Alex Stein. His take on 'Taktik' is a suitably muscular approach, building the track around a thick, urgent pulse and proving ample space for tension-building slices of metallic FX.

Argentinian Shall Ocin flips 'Egoist', bringing about very different results - a euphoric peak time burner with huge amounts of
energy.

Senso mainstay Carlo Ruetz takes on 'Der schwarze Kanal', and digs into an early groove that never lets up, building slowly over the tracks entirety.

Hamburg's own Hatzler brings his special talents to 'Absurd', and delivers a slick, powerful cut that unfolds over almost eight minutes of joy.

Canadian Minimal Techno producer Marc Houle turns his attention to 'Poltergeist', flipping the original into a streamlined slice of robo-techno, sharp as a knife with shards of percussion and killer synth stabs.

'Rotlicht' is presented in its full glory and joined by a tough-as-nails remix by Raxon. The Egyptian DJ and producer, born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, locks deep into the groove and adds his own delicious spin to the track.

'Trick17' is giving an Alternative Remix by Senso regular Distale. The Berlin resident provides a Beatport exclusive mix with more of a driving groove, and brings the arpeggiated synths to the fore.

Tanzprognose, Christian M. was born on Friday, 13 February 1987 in Bochum-Wattenscheid. Since early childhood he was fascinated with musical sounds. Initially, saucepans served as instruments for his musical expression. When he was four years old, his parents encouraged his interest in music by providing him with organ lessons. Within these ten years of organ studies, he took over the musical accompaniment of the Sunday church fairs. Soon, he discovered the electric guitar, which he also learned with great dedication. He had his first band and stage experiences at the age of fifteen. However, the restriction to only one musical instrument and compromise on compositions became more and more unacceptable over time. Through his disillusionment with business and life he had been able to withstand anything, up to the day, at the age of seventeen, when he had his first contact with electronic music. That day changed his life and fulfilled his long-awaited wish to express himself musically. The rhythmic elements and the dramaturgy fascinated him from the very first moment. When he stood in front of a large audience he knew that he would not do anything else in his life. The thought that so many people were connected by electronic dance music gives him goose-bumps even today. The study of digital film, which he started in 2015 at SAE, blended perfectly with his desired career. In 2016, Christian M. founded his own label called Zeitraffer Records, which was originally intended as a platform for his own compositions, but through which he also wants to promote young talent in the distant future.

Tanzprognose, Christian M. wurde am Freitag, den 13.02.1987 in Bochum-Wattenscheid geboren. Schon im frühen Kindesalter faszinierten ihn musikalische Klänge. Anfangs dienten Kochtöpfe zum musikalischen Ausdruck. Mit vier Jahren förderten seine Eltern sein Interesse an Musik durch Orgelunterricht. Innerhalb dieser zehnjährigen Orgelausbildung übernahm er die musikalische Begleitung der sonntäglichen Kirchenmessen. Kurze Zeit später entdeckte er die E-Gitarre für sich, die er mit erneut großem Engagement erlernte. Erste Band- und Bühnenerfahrungen sammelte er schon im Alter von fünfzehn Jahren. Doch die Beschränkung auf ein Musikinstrument, sowie Kompromisse bezüglich der Kompositionen einzugehen, wurden mit der Zeit immer inakzeptabler. Seiner Orientierungslosigkeit im Beruf wie auch im Leben konnte bisher nichts entgegenwirken, bis zu dem Tag an dem er mit siebzehn Jahren zum ersten mal mit elektronischer Musik in Kontakt kam. Dieser Tag veränderte sein Leben und gab ihm seinen lang ersehnten Sinn sich musikalisch auszudrücken. Die rhythmischen Elemente und die Dramaturgie fesselten ihn von der ersten Sekunde an. Als er das erste Mal vor großem Publikum stand, wusste er, dass er in seinem Leben nichts anderes mehr machen möchte. Die Tatsache, dass so viele Menschen durch elektronische Tanzmusik miteinander verbunden sind verursacht bei ihm noch heute Gänsehaut. Das Studium Digital Film, welches er im Jahr 2015 bei der SAE anfing, fügte sich optimal in seine angestrebte berufliche Laufbahn ein. If it's possible to say this, title track 'Captain My Captain' is actually the more restrained and studied of the three - featuring vocals written and recorded by Los Angeles based studio vocalist and label freund Cari Golden, who also wrote and performed the vocals on Anja Schneider's recent release for the Hi Five! mobilee compilation 'Something Left'.

BOHO and Rachel Raw have been grinding away for the past few years in the German techno scene from their hometown, Cologne. The two collaborate frequently both in the studio and on the decks, combining BOHO’s deep and focused sound with Rachel Raw’s heavy beats and hypnotizing melodies.

Their new EP, The Happening, stays true to their respective genre-bending catalogues. The title track displays a beautiful, spacey melody over a deep, techy bass line and driving groove. The Mr. Bizz remix thickens things up and takes it to the late-night dancefloor with a deeper and darker techno arrangement. Hansaring brings in the 303 for some acid-flavored progressive house, while Silver Stripe makes use of a filter-modulated bass and arpeggiated melodies to craft a hypnotic and exciting arrangement. Altogether it’s a diverse and unique set of sounds that showcases the German duo’s knack for interesting, genre-blending techno.
