Make This What You Want It To Be - Poem

She's here!
I'd been waiting all day for her to turn up
There's always so much that I want to say but the words never leave my lips
There's always so much I want to do
But when I try I trip
And god forbid I should ever let these words slip... I ....
I spot her at the door
It's been a while since I've seen her face
And when she spots me she turns and smiles with such an unwavering grace
We shared a short kiss as we held each other tight
It felt like that moment could last all night 
Memories came flooding back
And a happiness washed over me making me feel warm from head to toe
I looked into her eyes as she looked back into mine, hoping to stay frozen in that moment in time
I felt like we both knew how the other felt
But we didn't say it
We never say it
We always just know
And neither of us ever let those words go
Look maybe it's just me and she just REALLY likes me as a friend
But I wish she'd tell me either way
Because she takes up too much space in head
I think about her all the time
I just want this whirlwind of thought to end because its driving me round the bend!
I love her
But will I ever have the courage to let her know?
Maybe if I read her this rhyme...
