@sedefadasi's style is impossible to pin down. Embarking on her sonic journey, she fearlessly navigates her craft through a multifaceted universe of rhythms and genres, captivating dance floors with her everlasting groove and electrifying embrace. The best place to experience this rollercoaster is her own monthly HAMAM party at City club in Augsburg where she has invited plenty of international guests to join her. The Turkey-born, Germany-based artist is also a resident at Blitz Music Club and is set to join us at Dekmantel Selectors later in the summer, but first comes this week's podcast. 

It launches in seductive fashion with the moonlit deep house of Chicagoan Ben 'Cosmo' D then cruises through smooth but punchy grooves that stay low and bring hints of old-school cool in the basslines, stabs and drum breaks. Adasi's shift through the gears is almost imperceptible here as the pace quickens and the drums grow more physical. That is a testament to not only her smart selections but also to her ability to thread together these sounds quite so seamlessly.

Like the vibrant red of a certain luxury carmaker, ferrari rot knows how to turn heads. Her roots lie in Tech and Electro House from the 2000s, but she’s never been one to stay in a single lane. Her sets push boundaries with a fearless, curious approach that’s unmistakably her own – always lower-case, always high energy.

She doesn’t shy away from sounds others might dismiss. For her, no genre is off-limits – as long as the bassline hits right. Describing herself as “cunty but cohesive, subversive yet sexy”, her mixes favour slow burns over cheap thrills, while still making room for a bit of both.

Her bold approach has earned her international recognition, with Boiler Room appearances in Budapest and London, a tour of Australia, and gigs at top clubs like Nowadays in New York and Left Bank in Tbilisi. A close ally of crews like Herrensauna and MARICAS, she’s a shape-shifter behind the decks – unpredictable, unforgettable, and never boring.

This mix is a collection of tracks assembled with care and a little mischief – a soundtrack for intimate corners, stolen moments, and messy conversations that stretch into the night.
