Ambient Music Sketch 11.12

1/3 music fields.  For a time I been wondering what are the roots of the music I like to hear and play. In 2020 I finally gave myself the time to "found" or organized in my head music fields I feel identified or comfortable to move in and explore.

Ambient-electronic, Indie-post rock and acoustic classic guitar especially Venezuelan folk. 

This sketch is born out of my Venezuelan folk guitar roots. 

My music approach started with an acoustic guitar around 4th grade in an elementary school. Since that movement, I always had with me the second gutiar my parents bought to me

At some point, I found a great Venezuelan guitar composer called Antonio Lauro that blew my mind, so at a very young age, I started trying to learn all his songs. That became a constant in my life and now with  27 years old i still take my guitar at night and try one of his songs so many music habits I have born of his  music. 

This is a Venezuelan Folk riff style “ if that even exist”  + the addition of modern layers of sound I tried to recreate the reunions I used to have with friends some years ago.

the picture is from this beautiful story of my neighbor country Colombia.   This picture reminds me a lot to Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Antonio Lauro.
