I was asked to do an Anjunabeats classics vinyl only set by the good folks at Elysium. 

I was nervous about it, because they were tracks with great memories and people likely has certain expectations. So, this is my own take on some of the best tunes that came out on wax during my time of buying them fresh from the records store. Its not an A&B back catalog and Ive tried to remain cheese-free and avoid the overplayed ones. 
If anybody wants me to upload the video capture then I can do that.

A long awaited original by tranceform owner Oliver Cattley. Supported by Aly & Fila on FSOE 530. 

Originally produced as an ode to the old gatecrasher sound of his early club days (and a themed follow up to his collab with Steve Morley last year), the track itself is powerful tech monster aimed at the those on the dancefloor. 

We are very pleased to welcome the extraordinarily talented Type 41 on his Tranceform debut as remixer. This guy should need no introduction as his originals and remixes have been supported far & wide including ASOT & FSOE.  

Expect an uplifting, acid filled reinterpretation that adds a modern twist to the original. Lets go!

I realised that this year marks the 20 year milestone of listening to trance and what better way to do so than a mix with my favourite tracks from this time. 

But what to include!?
People who have listened to me long term know that I don’t do classics mixes (there’s only so many times you can hear the same tracks, right?).

As the original 10 years of trance mix reaches 4,000 plays I thought it shouldn’t include any of the tracks from this. 

It makes sense that if we’re talking about double the time then the mix should be double the length?

The project was a massive undertaking and has been approx 8 months in the making. I even broke my golden rule of no vocal tracks! This is the second mix in 20 years from me that has any vocals in it. 

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed compiling from vinyl and digital archive!
