One of my favorite field recordings from christmas that I never uploaded. Location is Lime St. train station in Liverpool, UK. Sorry about the wind rumble, need to get a windscreen. Recorded on a Roland R26 using the omni mics. Enjoy. Photo is mine too.

Field recording of a thunderstorm I got while I was in Canberra on the National Youth Science Forum in January 2013, from my room at Burgmann College at the Australian National University. Watch the ears; this one gets loud fast. 
Recorded using a Roland R-26 with the XY directional mics. I can upload the omnidirectional file too if you want but this one sounds nicer to me. It seems the mp3 has robbed quality, download the wav if you are using good headphones. Cover is a shot of mine in the rain that came with the storm.
