Brand new EP from the boss showcasing his new perspective and vision about techno along five cuts. Oscar Mulero’s sound it’s always changing and evolving, it can be physical and muscular or deep and sci-fi or both at the same time as this record shows.


On this occasion spanish titles explain the feeling of each track perfectly, Flujo Fatal is the first slice, Fatal Flow in english, a mental and deep voyage into intelligent techno: full of detail but with an energetic pulse below that activates the dance while the mind is traveling in unveiled territories.


Nueva y Oscura Era is the second cut, fast and obsessive, with detailed percussive elements crossing the stereo field while continuous synth lines run over the precise beat. An ideal mix tool for the peak time hours in the dancefloor.


Noches de Menta reminds us of the good old Birmingham days, intense, rugged and fast. Minimal in the components and pristine in the sound processing. Music for those who dance with closed eyes in the shadows and strobe lights.


Dos Esqueletos is the last cut on vinyl, an elastic and liquid piece made of shuffled rhythms almost 90% percussive. Perfect mixing tool for those who know.


On the digital release appears an extra track called Aire Silencioso, sibilant and resonant textures fly on the high part of the sound spectrum while a compact groove keeps the pace for a full physical experience. The extreme frequency treatment will cause waves in people's minds while dancing … immersive and expansive at the same time.

Nuevo EP del jefe que muestra su nueva perspectiva y visión sobre el techno a lo largo de cinco cortes. El sonido de Oscar Mulero siempre está cambiando y evolucionando, puede ser físico y musculoso o profundo y de ciencia ficción o ambos a la vez como muestra este disco.


En esta ocasión los títulos en español explican a la perfección el sentimiento de cada track, Flujo Fatal es la primera rebanada, Fatal Flow en inglés, un viaje mental y profundo al techno inteligente: lleno de detalles pero con un pulso enérgico debajo que activa el baile mientras la mente está viajando en territorios desconocidos..


Nueva y Oscura Era es el segundo corte, rápido y obsesivo, con elementos de percusión detallados que cruzan el campo estéreo mientras líneas continuas de sintetizador acompañan el ritmo preciso. Una herramienta de mezcla ideal para las horas clave en la pista de baile.


Noches de Menta nos recuerda los buenos tiempos de Birmingham, intensos, duros y rápidos. Mínimo en los componentes y prístino en el procesamiento de sonido. Música para los que bailan con los ojos cerrados en las sombras y luces estroboscópicas.


Dos Esqueletos es el último corte en vinilo, una pieza elástica y líquida hecha de ritmos muy trabajados con casi un 90% de percusión. Perfecta para combinar en mezclas largas.


En el lanzamiento digital aparece una pista extra llamada Aire Silencioso, texturas sibilantes y resonantes vuelan en la parte alta del espectro de sonido mientras que un ritmo compacto mantiene el ritmo para una experiencia física completa. El tratamiento extremo de las frecuencias excitará las ondas cerebrales en la mente de los danzantes:  inmersivo y expansivo al mismo tiempo.

Skryptöm celebrates 15 years with a series of four collab EPs. Each artist of the label invited one of their favorite producers for a unique collaboration.

A lot has happened over the past 15 years, new musical styles, switch from vinyl to digital and streams... changes that Antoine Husson (aka Electric Rescue) has welcomed with the same passion since the label creation in 2007. The french imprint has turned into a family of artists and projects, expanding into different musical styles, developing older members and welcoming new ones.

All artists spent days together jamming in the Skryptöm Collective project on various occasions in Caen, Nantes and Morocco before the pandemic. More recently the frequent Skryptöm parties at Nexus and Km25 (Paris) helped bond all artists together.

With this family spirit in mind, all artists had to feature on the compilation and the collabs were a fun way to welcome friends, mentors and inspirations.

Sci Fi techno alchemist Evod returns to the team with this extended work, the soundtrack of an interstellar voyage to the realms of the unknown.

First exercise Ammassi is a composition of bleeps and crispy textures, highly reverberated and running over a soft kick that sets the pace. As minutes go by the frequencies go busier and evolve in complexity.

Associazioni Stellari puts asymmetrical sequences and lots of shuffle into the equation, special mention to the exquisite 909 workout.

Centro di Massa introduces distortion and roughness but yet preserving the abstract and spatial feel. this one will cause some damage in the finest dancefloors out there.

Ellissi slows down the BPM rate, adds some dubby landscapes but still gives the feeling of non gravity with a scientific approach.

Gas sets the spaceship in dance mode again, emphasizing the higher frequencies and alien percussions in a totally crazy sound adventure that is always mutating.

Things go totally abstract in Polveri, an electronic jazz experiment putting again the 909 to its limits. The sub bass that comes in the middle will blow some speakers for sure.

Sistemi is a pure robotic dance tool, exquisite for being used as a layer in the hands of proper dj’s. Asymmetry is the key here.

Last but not least Spettro closes the tracklist with the energy levels peaking at the maximum. Rude, solid and ethereal at the same time.

Always a pleasure to have proper space commanders in our command station.

El alquimista tecnológico de ciencia ficción Evod regresa al equipo con este trabajo extendido, la banda sonora de un viaje interestelar a los reinos de lo desconocido.

El primer ejercicio Ammassi es una composición de bleeps y texturas crujientes, muy reverberadas, discurriendo sobre un bombo suave que marca el ritmo. A medida que pasan los minutos, las frecuencias se vuelven más obsesivas  y evolucionan en complejidad.

Associazioni Stellari suma secuencias asimétricas y mucha ritmo en la ecuación, mención especial al exquisito trabajo de  909.

Centro di Massa introduce distorsión y rugosidad, pero conservando la sensación abstracta y espacial. Esto causará mucho daño en las mejores pistas de baile inteligentes.

Ellissi reduce la velocidad de BPM, agrega algunos paisajes de sabor dub pero aún así da la sensación de no gravedad con un enfoque científico.

Gas vuelve a poner la nave espacial en modo baile, enfatizando las frecuencias más altas y las percusiones alienígenas en una aventura sonora totalmente desquiciada que muta contínuamente.

Las cosas se vuelven totalmente abstractas en Polveri, un experimento de jazz electrónico que lleva de nuevo al 909 a sus límites. El subgrave que viene en el medio seguramente hará reventar algunos altavoces.

Sistemi es una herramienta de baile robótica pura, exquisita para ser utilizada como una capa en manos de los dj 's adecuados. La asimetría es la clave.

Por último, pero no menos importante, Spettro cierra la lista de canciones con los niveles de energía al máximo. Rudo, sólido y etéreo a la vez.

Siempre es un placer tener comandantes espaciales adecuados en nuestra estación de mando.

Kessell is back at home with a powerful EP plus a bonus digital track on the digital edition. There is no need to remind everyone that Valentín Corujo is one of the most experienced producers on the techno scene. And this new work is the sonic proof.

Nothing left to say opens fire with distorted broken beats soon aligned by a solid 4/4 groove. The harsh sounds run across the stereo field wisely while the beat goes relentless. A powerful and raw peak time tool.

All that matters is the second cut,  beginning with a bass heavy groove, sibilant and distorted at the same time until the additional percussive parts appear and the subterranean bass turns into distorted hypnosis as the bars go on. An intense and obsessive piece of rugged techno.

On the B side, Descending Darkness, an industrial funk workout made of continuous distorted sequences and an enforced drum beat. No sign of breakdowns or epic moments, just a continuous drill for your neurons.

Cyclical Nature goes scifi and mental, with reverberated sequences running over a solid cemented pattern the spiral sequence turns into overdriven madness as the track goes combining aggression with futurism.

Inside Trauma uses broken beats as a basement, one of Kessell’s personal signatures when working on his side project Exium.

Another stepping stone on a solid and long career for this excellent creator.

Bio:
Oliver Rosemann is a german techno artist. He has been exploring his sound for many years. Over the time, he has made numerous releases on the most famous labels in the scene. Including many 12" records, studio albums and also remixes for respected artists. 

His music is characterized as dark, dirty and hypnotic. You can hear his tracks at the hands of the most famous DJs in clubs around the world. Or by himself, he is also traveling internationally and playing DJ sets or live sets.

Since 2021 he has been running the Recorded Things label, which has since gained a strong reputation among new and established artists. Here you can also recognize the sound that Oliver distributes.

Music connects like-minded producers in the scene so Oliver is involved in various collaboration projects. He works with Pfirter, Alexander Kowalski and Jonas Kopp and has released plenty of EPs with them.
