The latest release on 3rd Avenue welcomes Sudnode back to the label for a new single. Since partnering up with label boss Madloch in 2018 the majority of Subnode's productions have come courtesy of Sound Avenue or it's affiliates Crossfade Sounds and 3rd Avenue; while his own Caapi Records imprint has served as a landing spot for the finest in electronica and experimental sounds. Most recently, Subnode once again paired with Madloch on Sound Avenue, where the duo released the well received 'Utopia' alongside remixes from Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile and Microlot. Having released three solo productions 'Cura, Levels and End To Begin", Subnode now makes a welcome return to the Sound Avenue affiliate with his new EP "Earth".

Berlin’s rising talent Sunlast debuts on MUKKE with his newest single “What If I Go” Berlin based DJ and Producer Sunlast fell in love with electronic music in the early 2010s. As the years went by his passion for music kept growing and in 2018 Sunlast began to DJ. A year later he started teaching himself music production through Youtube videos. Nowadays the motivation behind his productions remains the same as when he started, making music that people enjoy and create memories to, the same way he has done with his favorite music. “What If I Go” is a blend of Melodic and Afro House. The main element and foundation of the track is the piano, which with the chord progression and its variations throughout the song keeps the track constantly evolving. Apart from the piano another element that is present throughout the entire production is an arp that, only playing one note, functions as a rhythmic element. Lastly, towards the second drop the focus of the track shifts from the piano to a catchy vocal sample that is guaranteed to have you singing along! Berlin-based house and techno wizard Emanuel Satie brings together a plethora of talent for Addis Ababa on Crosstown Rebels. Ninetoes, Mowgan and Matador all join the party to complete this epic EP.

Satie says of the release that it’s “an homage to worldwide collaboration. While travelling through Ethiopia I recorded traditional musicians, brought the sounds home to Berlin and made electronic tracks out of them with my friends Ninetoes and Mowgan”. 

EP opener Injera, produced with Ninetoes, is a mysterious and bumpy roller. Argew Neka, made in collaboration with Mowgan, adds tribal song and brings a delicate yet hypnotic groove to the table. Matador’s remix of the latter turns the track completely on its head layering futuristic elements over a harder beat.

Emanuel Satie’s career has blown up since he came to our attention in 2016 with his rework of Late Nite Tuff Guy’s remix of I Get Deep, which hit the top spot in the Beatport charts. He’s won the coveted Best Producer award in the DJ Awards and had a string of releases signed to impressive imprints including; Saved Records, Moon Harbour and Knee Deep In Sound. This year saw his track Don’t Forget To Go Home given the accolade of Essential New Tune from Radio 1 tastemaker Pete Tong at Miami Music Week.
