The arp'ed sequence is inspired by THE ORB's A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld. In fact the whole track is, with lots of sounds from synths or other sources. The music from the beginning and the german voices are from the UK tv series U.F.O.

Yes, this is the rhythm track for Photographic by Depeche Mode, as released on the Some Bizzare Sampler. It's the Disco2 beat from the analogue beatbox Korg KR 55. I just had to fade in the HH and snare and hit the fill in button the right times. It took me 7 or 8 times to get it all right in the place. Only the reverb effect on the snare is missing. And the kick from the DM version is definetly not from the KR 55, because the KR 55 kick isn't that phat! The kick they used must be from the ARP 2600, as I read in some biographie. So, download this one and play and sing along "I take pictures"! ;-)

The alarm signal, one minute rising and falling sound, means danger: seek protective facilities (a car does not provide adequate protection), followed by the media given behavior measures and the radio.

This was a siren test in 2003. At beginning and end, you hear different weapons shooting. That's because this was recorded in my hometown Munster, surrounded by military training spaces! Somewhat scary, you could actually imagine it's war!

the track is completely made with a doepfer a-100 basic system 2, sound by sound patched and recorded. actually it's a cover version. the original is by NU FOLDA a good friend of mine. I once compiled some good electronic music tracks together for him and called that compilation ELECTRONICS ARE BEAUTIFUL. that inspired him to make a tune and call it the same! it developped into some kind of ping pong, each of us made several variations from that tune.
