Oh So Divine is an ethereal alt-pop song! It is my expression of gratitude for that time in my life. I wrote it when I was having an absolutely perfect day during an amazing year. Sometimes I struggle with accepting good things for fear that they will eventually turn sour, this is reflected in the haunting tone, questioning lyrics of the chorus, and transition from "what can be better than this" to "what could be better than this". The final section of the song serves as a reminder to both myself and listeners that good things do happen with work, belief, and perseverance and all one has to do is show the confidence and courage to actually accept the crown that was already there.
