I performed a Mid-Side test by inserting a Primo EM283 figure-eight microphone and a PUI AOM 5024 omnidirectional microphone into a 53 cm diameter parabolic dish.

After an overnight rain and before dawn the sounds of two song birds, a cricket, a flock of noisy ravens, and distant fisherman preparing nets, are accompanied by pounding waves of the Arabian Sea, Kerala State, India. Recorded October 2022 with pair Lom Usi Pro omni mics in AB stereo & Zoom F3.

Arabian Sea Sunrise

The endangered pine rocklands provide ideal bird habitat during the dry season at Everglades National Park, Florida. A Chuck-will's-widow intones with nighttime crickets, an Eastern Towhee clicks at daybreak, and while afternoon winds blow through the forest, a Northern Cardinal sings. Recorded April 2023.Three clips edited from 44 hours of recording with Zoom F3 and Ursi Pro stereo pair taped to tree trunk.

Pinelands Dry Season Birds

Green Tree frogs, Southern toads, Pig frogs, and a cricket sing separately to create a cohesive soundscape after dark in the Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida. Recorded June 2023 with NOS pair Line Audio CM3 cardioids & Sound Devices MixPre-3.

Dark Swamp Forest Frogs

In this excerpt the sounds of the loom, as metaphor of the technological information operated by the handcrafted gesture of the hand, creates new possibilities of language.
The piece want to give an imaginative sound rendition to the warp and weft weaving process, the presence and absence of representation, and the intersection to technology with tradition.

A Hindu priest recites prayers that assist a worshiper with spiritual guidance at the Pashupatinath Temple complex in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located on the banks of the Bagmati River, It is here many Nepalis bring their dead for Hindu cremation rituals. Recorded November 2023 with Audio Technical  AT4025 stereo microphone & Sound Devices MixPre 3.

As alligators glide by in flooded cypress forest at sunset, hungry fish splash for insects, honey bees visit wildflowers, and pig frogs, doves, woodpeckers, cormorants, and herons call, and at 2:25 a large bird flies past. Recorded March 2024 in The Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida, with pair Line Audio cardiod microphone in NOS. MixPre-3 has 80 Db gain and -40 Hz low cut.

A warm onshore breeze pushes small expressive waves onto the beach at the Nature Conservancy's Blowing Rocks Preserve, Jupiter, Florida. Recorded April 2024 with match pair Line Audio CM3 cardioids in NOS stereo and Sound Devices Mix-Pre 3, 50 Db gain and -80z low cut.

Я попала в зависимость от тебя.
Когда голубь пропел свою тихую-тихую песню,
гуляя по подоконнику медленным плаванием.
Я попала в глубокую зависимость,
видя: деревья в окне всё ещё стоят.
Я попала в это прекрасное место.
Чтобы встретиться с тобой сегодня вечером.

И ни у кого не спросив, как туда добраться,
я вышла из этой двери, сжимающей меня
до размеров моей комнаты.
И ни у кого не спросив дороги,
я поплыла через цветные волны,
ожидая своей остановки.

I got dependence to you.
When the dove sang its quiet, quiet song,
walking along the windowsill by slow swimming.
I got deeply dependence, 
seeing: the trees in the window are still standing.

ЗАВИСИМОСТЬ / interdependence (with Ясный-Svetly)

She always brings a smile, sharing the warmth of her heart with everyone in her surrounding. While she has travalled far and performed shows for many, what she loves most is to be united with her close ones and play a soundtrack to the ones dear to her. Over the years, Alma Linda (@alma_linda) has helped many arising artists taking their first steps, encouraging them to pursue their very own artistic path.. and through that, she encouraged herself to stay on hers. As we have shared many hours of joy with her, we are now delighted to share two hours of joy to you.. Enjoy!
