LEMONS!

Just bc I've been enjoying Periphery's new album I thought I'd make a lil 8-bit version of the outro while I figured out the notation for the song. 

The songs called Absolomb (track 8 off the album Periphery III: Select Difficulty)
.... and I know its not all 8-bit but it was just for fun, so I hope you like :D

My last piece of practical coursework from last year. 

A result of trying out open tunings for heavy songs after listening to Scarlet by Periphery. I also got some inspiration for the middle-8 section from their song Erised (I had just discovered the band and was listening to them a lot).

This was a lot of fun to make so I hope you enjoy :D

DREAMING

Got a new condenser mic the other day so decided to test it out with my acoustic guitar. The Microphone is an AUKEY GD-D1 Studio Mic, I recorded into Reaper64 on my also new macbook and added an ambient reverb plugin I found recently. 
Yeah theres noise in the background bc I was near the kitchen, but its only to test out my new mic and have a bit of fun.

Worked on quite a few tracks since last summer, just messing around with new ideas and sounds. There was a lot but I chose these two as they were my favourite. 

This is a more upbeat track, where I was experimenting more on the instrumentation and the sounds.

Llama EP

LLAMAWAVE

One of my favourite tracks from last year that I worked on.
Started out as a side project but I then decided to experiment with the track and release it myself. 

Never found the time to release it but after releasing the last two electronic tracks, I thought it would be good to also release this.

Bedroom recorded shoegaze-y/alternative-rock track, with as many pedals as i could fit on the floor and a Fender Princeton covered with a duvet. Was a nice change for how i usually do things, with a bit of help from @ScottLawrenceWarrillow. 
May be adding vocals sometime in the future, but there will be more songs to come before that!
