Since childhood, Olimpiu Calin got into electronic music environment from his family and friends.
In 2005 he experienced producing music combining ambient themes into IDM and Downtempo.
The will to discover the unknown borders of electronic music pushed Ollie Dirt starting his DJ career with small private parties reaching his first club event in 2007 together with Technology when The Contrast Crew was formed.
Under the name Contrast Crew numerous events took place all around Romania.
In 2008 he initiated together with Pseudub a weekly series of electronic music events hosted by Suburbia Club in Bucharest, tradition that held about 2 years, having guests various people that had something to say on the Romanian electronic music scene.
Performing as DJ in front of different cultures around the world like India, Mozambique, Mexico, Guatemala,  made himself flexible and adaptable in any situation helping the receivers to find themselves in his music.
Today the music you are about to listen from Ollie Dirt / Oli Breaks is mainly Drum and Bass, Breakbeat but also Tech/Elektroplasm and Downtempo/Big Beat.
