Olly Hite basses in the south of England - Portsmouth The piano man extraordinaire is inspired by the early 70’s singer songwriting scene, artists such as, Lennon, Billy Joel , Elton John, Neil young, Jackson Brown.

Olly Hite is a UK Singer songwriter from the South of England. The piano man extraordinaire  inspired by the early 70’s singer songwriting scene sounds echos early works of Elton John colliding with the modern melodies of Chris Martin. 

Hite had a global release with Norman Cook AKA  Fatboy Slim on THE BPA – Brighton Port Authority, which had an all-star line up including David Byrne, Iggy Pop, Martha Wainwright to name a few.  

Captivating audiences in LA, Hollywood and across the UK, Hite’s live performances will bring you a feeling of togetherness, hope and happiness. His stage presence and charisma is infectious and his voice will tuck into your heart and whisper to your soul. 

Hite had his debut album “In Everyone“ released last year through Mayfield Records which led him to work alongside Multi-Grammy award-winning writer/Producer Robert Cutarella in conjunction with inspiro entertainment. Olly then released “Lioness” under Mesa Bluemoon recordings which was picked up by many Spotify playlists and has had international airplay. 

Currently Olly is co writing  with Clare Lizzimore the Olivier Award winning British writer and theatre director.

After a prolific run of successful summer and festival shows, Olly is releasing “Know What Mean”

“Know What I Mean” is about recognising this beautiful thing called love! 

“Please be my Queen and I’ll be your King, we’re go make tracks, know what I mean. You make me dance and I make you sing, let’s go make tracks. Know what I mean”

Written and produced by Hite, the song is driven by a marching piano sequence and dressed with dirty electric guitar loops.

This is a refreshing stomping hooky pop anthem. Featuring the iconic backing vocals of Lorna Osbourne. It Breaths early Elton John vibes with a dash of Lou Reed loitering at a dinner party with Sargeant pepper.. You’d be musically sleeping not to tap your toes to this beast of a pop song.
