Composé entre Lyon et L'île de La Réunion, “Tribe Corridor” est un sensible mélange d'influences entre un dub envoûtant, une electronica résonnante et une trance radicalement lente et voyageuse. ‘Recorded mainly at Dungeon Module (1) - my last studio in London except for ‘Castle Force’ recorded at current studio Dungeon Module 2. To some extent a lost album, the bulk of the album was made for a project which never came to fruition, and like ‘A Snowstorm In The Tropics’ there’s a few tracks which have been my live sets for a few years but have never had a proper release'.

Raw emotional synth and rhythm tracks for late nights in the dungeon.

Double Ten Day (10/10) in Taiwan has evolved throughout the years into a national day celebrating Taiwan's self-reliant progress, and its distinct culture.
For the second straight year, JIN Records will release a unique compilation with eight Taiwan-based producers celebrating the island. Crossing the musical spectrum, it showcases the diversity of Taiwan's electronic music scene.
To celebrate further, we will donate 50% of the revenue to the Taiwanese NGO Green Citizen's Action Alliance (GCAA) 綠色公民行動聯盟. This organization focuses on environmental issues and seeks to preserve Taiwan's unique biodiversity.

Kulku return to Phase Group with the release of their new album 'Reset To Be'

Formed in Berlin at the turn of the millennium, Kulku have evolved as a highly unique and free-formed collective of musicians that make trance-inducing, jazz-entwined, percussive and soulful (mostly) acoustic music that takes cues from the rhythmic propulsion of Jaki Leibezeit’s Can, the street-folk of Moondog, the minimalism of Steve Reich, and the droning rock n’ roll of the Velvet Underground, forming a sound that they themselves have coined ‘No-Age Krautrock’. 

Following on from last year’s sold out debut LP ‘Fahren', 'Reset To Be’ offers 5 new songs across 2 sides of vinyl. This is a record that perfectly showcases the unique identity the band have been developing over the past 20 years, a sound crafted through experimentation and innovation with primarily acoustic instruments; droning harmoniums, repetitive and phasing xylophones, timpani, cello, scrap metal and woodwind reeds, all sitting alongside soulful saxophone and the voice of frontman Andreas Riska, singing in both German and English. 

‘Reset To Be’ is a truly special offering that we’re proud to be able to share with you on Phase Group, and the album will be available at the beginning of 2024 on vinyl and digital, with distribution via Rubadub.

Dunkeltier macht Spaß! A friend told us it's long awaited. So yes, now the saga goes on. Luckily! With a pinch of salt. But it’s not a hoax! Years after the EPs on Macadam Mambo and Bahnsteig 23, das Dunkeltier is back on wax, this time on the German label Reach Another System aka RAS Records. It comes as no surprise that it's a surprise box drawing from the bottomless pit that is the 80s. And again, these edits are closer stylistically to his dark side project boldly named GOTT than to his more gleeful mainstay alias Sneaker. The sources of these four obscurities are only revealed to the third ear of the knowledgeable digger, but let us give you a hint – gathered are Teutonic Titans, a Bauhaus offshoot and a digital symphony orchestra. Kein Spaß!

And here we go, far out and yet so near, the third edition of “Risks Issues Opportunities” brings frontier reverberations scratching at the edges of dance, pop, downbeat, and other trance- portive sectors. Eight fast/slow propelling tracks. Adventurous, full of grandeur, gratifying the dance floor while equally winning the relaxation zones. Pure emotions crafted by newcomers. There is Milan’s Tagliabue, trancing slow and insightful. Or Cologne’s Grischerr, eloquently Tolouse-Low-Traxing. Some go down the slow burning road, where rhythms hang low, and suspense is in full show. Like London’s Frank Rodas, Garnu Depot from Iran, or Xei Ju from the islands of Micronesia, striking all ears with ghostly transcendental percussive science. An autumnally global voyage, which likewise offers industrialized districts by Italian producer Federico Cassetta, Metropolis minimal wave pop by Japanese musician Saeko Killy, or odd swamp funk by Chilean/German duo 7697 Miles. They all show, how far you can go, without losing your distinct flow.

Olo Yegussa c’est donc un appel à l’explorateur, au curieux, qui sommeille en chacun de nous et qui désire s’aventurer dans l’horizon pour y construire une nouvelle histoire.

Hommage à l'œuvre de Günther Anders, olo et yegussa en sont les principaux protagonistes. Dans un monde dystopique en perte de droits et de liberté, ils sont les créateurs et l'incarnation de la transmission de savoir et d'espoir...
