This is a dwig rework/cover of I'll Be a Sunbeam by Nellie Talbot, but more in the spirit of the Vaselines version. Greatest Thx and biggest love and respect to them and for sure Nirvana without them our ear to world would be very different.

Here is a set recording from one of my most valuable events, CODA by Ratherlost x Pax-Roama at Lofi. I put a massive effort into that night, thinking about the past and future of my DJ career. I communicated best with the dancers and could express myself in a way that only I could. Sometimes I feel insecure about my life as a DJ. CODA gave me all the answers.

Wow! I was excited as soon as I saw this link up between Italy's Babe Roots and Japan's New Dub Hall label then I listened to the clips and got a whole lot more excited!

A-sider "Mi Feel It" featuring dub poet Wayne (who Babe Roots have worked with previously on their "Through We" 12" released on System Music really is something very, very special indeed. Sitting somewhere between dub techno, dub poetry and golden era 90's trip hop (think Blue Lines-era Massive Attack...) it's the sort of thing dubwise dreams are made of. This one ticks so many boxes for me it's just rediculous. Absolutely amazing. 

Hoeever it doesn't stop there. Flip it over and we're treated to the soulful rootical dub techno/dub poetry of the appropriately named 'Roots" featuring none other than Undefined's very own Ohkuma on drums who provides percussive backing to Wayne's deeper than deep dub poetry.

Two brilliantly diverse and innovative dubwise sounds on one mighty fine 10" dubplate style. Can't wait to get my hands on this one!
