The story for “I KNOW” is about a girl who falls for the guy of her dreams only to find out that he is not being honest and breaks up with him thinking she knows the reasons… thus I know I know…

The entire love-affair occurs in a game (MMO RPG/Massive multiplayer online roleplaying game) which puts an epic twist to the entire plot:)

The inspiration really came to me out of the blue when one day I was researching and found some stories about people having romantic affairs in online games. It got me thinking about the capacity and the potential to accept a relationship that is virtually … pixels.

What constitutes a relationship? Does it have to physical? Do you even have to know what the other person look like? All these questions start to storm my brain…

The story behind Dance The Night Away circumvents itself around two strangers who are mortally attracted to one another. Situated at a festival (or large scale party) the two gets entangled in an immortal dance focusing only on the moment and nothing else. Uncertain whether the other person may feel the same, they forgo the exchange of numbers leaving only the memory of the dance they shared

I KNOW-Intro and Back Story

Intro: 
Breakups are one of those universal shitty things everyone experiences at least once in their life. I’ve written and produced ‘I Know’ in the hope of providing some insights into a dreadfully complex experience we all share. Ironically, ‘I Know’ on the surface expresses the confidence of knowing the truth however, on the flip side, I wanted to reveal the reality of a self-made world, a world created to help the suffering to reconcile with the unbearable side of the truth.

Overview concept & idea or inspirations behind ​​the creation of the song

The fundamental principle for 'I Know' is one of “Self-preservation," and the effort to reconcile with the harsh reality. The emotional scar left from breakups prolongs any recovery efforts to move forward in life. 

Sonically, I wanted ‘I Know’ to be a track that has the flexibility to allow for multiple genres to come together.
However, to convey an array of mixed emotions behind a breakup, I thought it best to merge future bass and pop. And since both genres carry strong melodic features. The allowance for complex emotions to act in parallel for a more epic and dramatic feel became possible.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank 郑羽淇 KiKi, my wife, fam & friends. Also, anyone who's involved in the entire process of making this track a reality!!!
