The Mesh mix series returns with a powerful re-launch courtesy of London-based Programma++ (aka DJ Programma). Known for fusing a deep love of club culture with intricate musicality, Programma++ has built a reputation for genre-blurring sets that guide listeners through the sounds that shape his distinctive artistic vision.

This debut mix marks the launch of DJ Programma’s latest project, Programma++, a pseudonym dedicated to greater creative freedom and a more experimental sonic approach.

This mix presents a dynamic journey through experimental soundscapes, weaving together elements of bass, breakbeat, techno, and drum & bass to showcase the full spectrum of genre-defying club music, the forward thinking styles that have defined his signature sound.

Kia’s meditative cosmic aura meets Bitter Babe’s rhythmic fire in a tribal, sassy mix that moves, pulses, and evolves. Layered textures, ancestral grooves, and veteran bass carry the set through ravishing hours of sound.

“A recording from pe:rsona in France, one of the most memorable sets of the summer for me!! 

I felt a connection to this crowd in particular and that’s not something that happens often. A lot of this is down to the people behind this festival, the pe:rsona/Positive Education crew are very intentional with what they do, they champion and support a lot of artists who aren’t necessarily ‘big names’. I think this cultivates a crowd that trusts in their curation, they’ve fostered this really special energy. 

I played on Friday night between two live sets, Christian Coiffure and Renslink. They are two incredible acts to be sandwiched in-between which inspired the set to evolve the way it did.

One of the most special things about curating this series is the opportunity to connect with like-minded, beautiful souls from around the world. Among them is none other than the lovely DOC, whom we warmly welcome to the series <3

If you've ever had the pleasure of meeting DOC, or even briefly chatted with him online, you’ll know just how deeply passionate and supportive he is about the music he loves. He carries a special, contagious energy that inspires those around him and resonates throughout his artistry as a gifted selector, producer, and curator of the incredible Selene Series / The Continuum podcast.

Today, we are deeply honoured and grateful to share a very special improvised live recording, generously gifted to us by DOC and his machines.

With music, we are always searching for a familiar feeling or experience - a kind of warm, comforting nostalgia - and we find it here, within this beautifully woven, abstract tapestry of sound.
