Hendrik Omun - For Lazy Days

The story between Hendrik Omun (aka Paul Hendrik Muschner) and electronic music turns more and more into a deep partnership. Through his greatest passion, he found a way to express himself and to convert his impressions and feelings into an energetic, audible medium, which is then transferred to the listener. Music is elastic to him. It is generated with emotions, triggers emotions and comes back with emotions. This is why the interaction with the audience on stage belongs to the central parts of his doing. The closeness to the crowd via the energetic flow of the music and resulting resonances during live-acts inspires him.
With 13 years, he started to play the drums, which mirrors his rhythmic and spirited style until today. He was involved in the formation of the Keep Yourself festival and the Trebuchet music studio and cooperated with various artists for different projects. His debut album “Translucency'' was released in Sept 2021 on his label NOWN records. In his productions and live sets, the native thuringian creates a dark, bass-driven, technoid atmosphere where rough elements coexist with clear, clean synth sounds. The intention behind his music is the generation of space and time for inner motions and self-reflection. His DJ sets are rather focused on the celebration of the moment and include a wider range of electronic music genres. Open-hearted, inventive, always searching for new sounds, hopelessly addicted to his drug of choice. Paul is walking through a world soaked with music, in which traffic noise turns into an orchestra and a tin can becomes a snare drum.
Just one question remains: Does he define his music, does his music define himself or it’s the same?

Omun is a personal Place for me, where I can come into calm and balance in motion through the music, I make. Every track I made is written from scratch and the sets I play are mostly improvised based on the feelings I have, I want to feel and I also don‘t like but I have to deal with. So the genre of my music isn‘t easy to describe, but the most of it as electronic groove Music.
