No pude ver que me amaba, ciego estaba (yo), sólo en la oscuridad
tirado al suelo pidiendo pan, mas lo vi pasar, abriendo mis ojos ahí, 
y ahora todo está claro (al fin).

Con gratitud yo lloré a sus pies, luego los secó-mi cabello, y perfume le eché,
unos que ahí estaban- juzgaban al ver, ¨si este profeta es,
¿por qué dejar que le tocara alguien sucio así?¨,
