"Πάτμος3 - Patmos3" è una composizione acusmatica ideata e prodotta a “sei mani” da Giorgio Bianchi, Omar Dodaro e Alessandro Laraspata. Patmos è l’isola del mar Egeo dove l'evangelista Giovanni ebbe le sue visioni e scrisse l'Apocalisse. La composizione segue una metodologia di creazione collettiva simile a quella sperimentata nel 2004 da Christian Fennesz, Mika Vainio e Christian Zanesi al GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) di Parigi: condivisione delle motivazioni, dell'immaginario espressivo e fusione esperienziale a partire dalla ricerca dei materiali sonori e dei processi di elaborazione finalizzata alla coerenza della costruzione formale risultante. Nel quadro del PROGETTO APOCALISSE, i tre giovani compositori hanno volutamente integrato all’interno di questo loro progetto compositivo collettivo – anche sottoforma di interpolazione – parti delle opere musicali di Jonathan Harvey e Olivier Messiaen: “punti nodali, processi, stratificazioni, complessità e caos che si pacificano e che, gradatamente, svelano all'ascolto la loro natura”.

Πάτμος3 - Patmos3  is an acousmatic composition created and produced by Giorgio Bianchi, Omar Dodaro and Alessandro Laraspata, at the Conservatory of Music in Milan. Patmos is the island of the Aegean Sea, where the evangelist John had his visions and wrote the Book of Revelation.
The composition follows a methodology of collective creation similar to that experienced in 2004 by Christian Fennesz, Mika Vainio and Christian Zanesi the GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) at Paris: sharing motivation, imagination and expression, trying to integrate several experience from research of sound materials to formal construction. Under the Apocalypse Project, the three composers have deliberately integrated short fragments of musical works by Jonathan Harvey and Olivier Messiaen: nodal points, processes, layers, complexity and chaos that, gradually, unveil their nature.

Graduated in music theory and composition, music technology, music pedagogy at the Conservatory of music of Milan. He got Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Padua and the professional license at the University of Milan Bicocca. He composed the original soundtrack of movie «The Merchant of Dreams» which was awarded at «Moving Picture Film Contest» and selected at «River’s Edge International Film Festival» (U.S.A.). He took part at some live audiovisual comments and realized sound direction for Fontana Mix (J. Cage) and for Aus den sieben Tagen plan, Setz die Segel zur Sonne / Intensität / Es (K. Stockhausen) (Milan).
