Of course it's produced by my favorite A R Rahman.

Loaded up Ableton and had to put my spin on it - wanted to try something new this is my first time making a UK Garage track.

This sample gives me nostalgia from the early days of discovering Soulction. I remember hearing this sampled by all my favorite producers, I have probably 50 versions of this song. 

I heard it wile I was out the other night (shoutout thecandyrain) and heard Dola Re in my head - I came home and made this - I wanted it to be something hard hitting for the club, so I wrote some afro-house drums, along with a baile funk vocals and bounce. Just for good measure I followed up the second drop with a jersey club baseline - which I made just a few hours before debuting it live at the No Nazar 2 year anniversary party!

I had to put my spin on it - Dholna by Shubha Mudgal & Sukhwinder Singh went perfect with those chords. I put them in Ableton, one thing led to the next, and turned into a Baile Funk / Jersey Club / Desi Bass banger.

Habibi Dah (Nari Narain)by Egypt born Hisham Abbas is one of my favorite songs. It translates to "That's My Love (My Fire is Two Fire)" This is a song I grew up listening to both within Arab communities in NJ but also in Indian/pakistani communities too. The second verse is sung by Bombay Jayashri who is a Carnatic singer - so for being released in 2001 this is a pretty dope collab. Nari Narain was Hisham Abbas's most successful single, thats gotta stand for something. Would love to hear more cross cultural collaborations as beautiful and classic like this. 

I took the vocals pitched them down and made a baile / uk drill track out of it. Making these are fun fosho. Hope y'all enjoy <3
