This is a remix of a 3 year old song that I recorded with my musical friend Les (Heavenly Vine @eljay-15), who contributed the great lyrics and vocals. I always found the song well done and therefore wanted to polish it up again. I added a few sounds and remixed it and it now deserves new attention :-)

A Peaceful Song - OMCB

This is a slightly different track again. I took advantage of Masha's Open Collap offer, who recorded a meditation for relaxation in her calm, pleasant voice. I tried to underlay these with also relaxing sounds. Because a relaxation phase lasts a little longer, this track is also very long. Otherwise it doesn't work. For me it works, I actually fell short asleep when checking the finished recording with headphones while lying on the couch ;).

Many had hoped that Corona would be a wake-up call for humanity. That people finally have a sense of the gift they've been given. The gift of living in a wonderful world. Many hoped that now people would live in solidarity, live respectfully and peacefully with one another. But already during the Corona crisis one noticed that the opposite was happening. People became more and more selfish. The hatred for everything and everyone increased and it is getting worse and worse. No respect, no solidarity. The Rhythm Of Life - IPG1 & OMCB

The Story

Fog covers the calm sea. For days no wind. The situation seems to be hopeless. Finally the wind chases away the clouds and the ship picks up speed. The impressive three-master shines in the glow of the sun. 

The mood increases. The crew celebrates the good weather with plenty of rum. The ropes vibrate in the wind and it sounds like the singing of mermaids. The tune and the rum makes them tired and sleep overpowered them and they do not notice the strange eerie atmosphere. 

Dark clouds appear on the horizon and light up red as blood in the sunset. A thunderstorm is coming up. Heavy squalls tear at the sails. The ship dances on the huge waves. A lightning hits the mainmast. The fire spreads quickly on board. The crew noticed the tragedy too late and is fighting in vain against the forces of nature. It’s to late, the sea devours the proud ship and its crew forever.

Another collab with the amazing Special Cecilia. The music accompaniment is kept very simple. Volca Beats drum, Volca Keys synth sound. A simple guitar bass tone and an ambient digital synth sound in the background. That's all. Together with Cecilia's special voice it sounds pretty cool. I hope you think so too :-)

Escape into Parallel World - Special Cecilia & OMCB [Music Video]

I absolutely had to test my new microphone once :). So I picked out my old concert guitar and some percussion instruments, like my hands ;). Then I re-recorded my old song "Spring Longing" and made it a light summer song. Beach, campfire, a few guitars, enjoying the balmy summer night. But something was missing. Singing. With my voice, I would have destroyed the atmosphere. So I took the open collab song "Dreamers in the Dark" from Christine K and inserted some parts of her angelic voice. Finished is the Sunny Sunday Summer Song, which saw the light of day on a sunny Sunday. 
If you close your eyes while listening, you can hear the sound of the sea and the creaking of the campfire ;) ... it's magic!

Asteroids - OMCB

This is a 80s style electronic New Wave song. The synth sounds are analog made with Korg Volca Keys. Percussion were played with e-drum. Some e-bass and e-guitar sounds complete the soundscape. Thank you so much Cecilia for all your beautiful open collab songs. Again with a important message.

Welcome The New Year - OMCB

I love the exciting diversity of the Soundcloud universe. Here I always discover new, creative music creations and meet many nice people from all over the world. The music unites us all. SC offers me the unique opportunity to publish my own sound ideas. I am still learning and I like to be inspired. Therefore, I like to process finished songs of SC friends to new tracks. 
I don't have a preferred style. No matter whether rock, pop, disco or experimental music. No matter whether analog or digital instruments. The most important thing is that I enjoy it and like it.
