CONCEPT: This beat I made about a year ago was like my different war cry against police brutality, wrongful execution (meaning death row), and unfair imprisonment amongst innocent black men. Just because you see us blacks, you cannot shut us down. This is no controversy. This is no conservatism. And there shall be no more tug of wars inside our brains. I'm not playing.

When you hear the rock part drop after the piano intro and the Spanish vibe and you hear my five words (meaning my battle cry), that was why I made this.

(Also, this beat was supposed to be intended for @user-amirfels and his band Finding New Ground by the way. This'll be the flip of the day on SC, even until Amir is back to work. Thanks.)

Though I never knew him because I wasn't born yet, it was never too late for me. Since 2012, I've peeped his music casually. But In 2019 and 2020, that's when I started digging deeper during my senior year, and even more deeper than his music and interviews, except I feel like now I regret that I was comparing myself to him and everyone else a lot, especially my own things if people feel some way about me doing that. I'm willing and ready to study how this man left his legacy for children my age also.
