A-Trak is everywhere these days. After selling out his second annual Gold Gone Wild tour, the #RealDJing champion brought Fool’s Gold’s hugely successful Day Off festival franchise across America, merging hip hop heavyweights with electronic music’s elite and capturing the sound of a generation in a way that only he can.  As a Grammy-nominated producer, his discography is just as varied: in the past few months alone, he’s taken hip-hop futurism mainstream with “Out The Speakers” (featured in Mountain Dew’s Superbowl commercial and viral ad campaign) while reinventing EDM riffs with cheeky guitar-led single “Ibanez” and churning out ubiquitous remixes for Alesso and the Chainsmokers. It’s a welcome blend of throwback attitude (’80s electro soul, ‘90s Chicago house, two-stepping Y2K chart toppers), thoroughly modern production, and earworm melodies that feel timeless from the very first listen.

John Morales (M+M) is a DJ and mixer who helped to pioneer the use of editing for dance floor remixes of records in the 1980s. Morales mixed Tuxedo’s self-titled album, and returned to the master tapes to created his own mixes for this disco 12-inch single.

Blake Robin aka LUXXURY aka Baron von Luxxury has been making waves in the DJ/producer disco community over the past two years with his controversial edits. He was personally selected by Duran Duran's bassist and co-founder John Taylor to cover "Planet Earth". His "Hotel California" edit was a runaway smash, instantly attracting nearly 300,000+ Soundcloud listens and a great deal of press including a front page piece with the Wall Street Journal. “Hotel California” was later taken down everywhere due to a major internet kerfuffle, which served only to boost Luxxury's profile and add to his mystique. He received immediate support from Greg Wilson, Psychemagik, Ursula 1000, Junior Sanchez, Goldroom and hundreds more.

Today, LUXXURY shares his new single “Take It Slow” which is available now and will be released as part of the Hold On / Take It Slow single package on March 4 via Deep&Disco. The new songs are heavily steeped in classic West Coast sunshine and vintage disco vibes. Along with keyboardist/collaborator Billy Caruso (Laco$te, Corridor) the new Luxxury sound doubles down on '78 California: all shimmering Rhodes, dusty anti-EDM disco beats and funky bass lines peppered with blue eyed falsetto vocals provided by Robin himself.

From there they've grown into a platform for today's Funk-scene where they invited people like MXXWLL, Pomrad, Trian Kayhatu, Sven Atterton and others to perform live-shows at their nights. 

'Feeding U New Knocks Vol.1' is the first compilation in a brand-new series with the aim of shedding more light on this thriving movement.
