The debut EP for Omena is the first of two releases that we are proud and honoured to release. Find Love & Boogie is a serious bumper collection of tracks. From the deep opening title track with it's shuffling beats to Shadow Dancer, with it's jazzy drums and infections rubber bassline Jamie aka Tree Threes really gets down and make tracks work for the dancers. Boogie pt.3 is the sound of the perfect block party while the ending track, Induction is almost like a homage to the sound of Mo Wax.

Love Guides Beyond is the follow-up to Find Love & Boogie by Tree Threes, released on Omena. This time we get four tasteful and well crafted tracks celebrating all things house, suitable for any club setting.

Half Dead Dave's debut, Them Salsa People, is a beautifully sweeping EP and showcases his diverse range, bringing together smooth, deep and organic synthesis with ethereal spoken word sampling.

The EP opens with the title track 'Them Salsa People', a soundtrack to one of those warm and breezy summer nights that tells the tale of dancing to jazz to the old heroes of jazz. 'No Kids, Three Money' follows on the same trail, the deep sunset house vibes is something Dave handles to perfection. Next up we got 'It's A Form Of Art', with it's meandering melodies and blissful chords it sounds very much like something from the classic Paper Recordings era. Last but not least we got 'Church Picnic', it got that feel of something from the classic Italian deep house scene but with Dave's own twist.

The way each track unfolds on this release is pure bliss, this is house that refuse to grow old, just dive in and enjoy!

Cactus Theory is an EP that tells four different stories. The opening track Summer Of Lava is a bold take on the RnB influenced house sound that makes the perfect end of the night track. It's hands down a summer anthem. Up next we got Interpretations, a track with that sounds like it's taken from the album Pansoul by Motorbass. Maquis got all the ingredients we've come to love in a Moonee track. It's dreamy, almost floating with beautiful strings and a great uptempo beat.

Last but not least the title track Cactus Theory is a homage to a new wave inspired club sound, done in 2024.

We’ve reached the end. This is as far as the story tells the final recording by the artist(s) that kickstarted the Omena LTD series with the mini-album ”1” early 2015.  

Back in 1992, after extensive recording sessions, several releases albums that never pleased the major label and touring that led the members to become less friends and more enemies an unanimous decision led the members to put everything on hold. 

The final track ever recorded at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio
was ”Paus” or as the late South African-born American recording engineer Phil Ramone described it – their masterpiece.  

Listening back to the session it’s evident the band was heading in a new direction, heavily inspired by Daniel Lanois and Sonia Pottinger.  The use of horns, the synth bass and the way the drummer ties everything together is exceptional. 

Due to the success with the two previous releases on OMLTD, the band decided to give the recording to Tooli but not only that, they also re-recorded some parts late 2014 (hence the name 141201). What you have here is something truly special and may or may not be the comeback everyone is waiting for.
